A Wedding
Added 2026-01-08 16:56:35 +0000 UTCA very long time ago an asteroid struck the alien artefact known to humanity as the Sugar Lump, splashing basalt lava 10000 metres deep and 10000km accross one of its softly glowing, indestructible surfaces. Later humanity crashed icy comets onto this range, the water following gravity forming a circular sea scattered with long islands and fjords under a dome of air at the centre of the planet sized square face.
Centuries later, a living starship arrives at the Sugar Lump for happy occasion.
