Intersting idea more like a suspension bridge than a pyramid.. mind you bridges still have giant uprights and deep foundations to support the tensile components. I like tensegrity structures too, but for this one I just wanted brutal efficiency and robustness. Not that it helped that much against a tactical nuclear strike lol

2025-06-18 13:20:06 +0000 UTCIf you're going to build buildings on a superstructure like that, it's better to make them tensile rather than compressive structures. It also allows for more interesting shapes to your buildings. They're all hanging from cables, suspended in space.
