The ThinkPad is down, Long Live the Thinkpad

Thanks to your generosity and support Ive been able to save up over the past years to afford a new workstation to replace my beloved, much modded but ancient 2013 Lenovo W530. The W530 runs Windows7 which is no longer supported with security updates by Microsoft, and cant run the latest software like Blender. Rendering 3d stuff is very slow too; no real-time rendering here.
Ive attached my strategy above: im replacing the Thinkpad with an identical-looking ThinkPad.
This model was the absolute mack-daddy in 2021 retailing at around £6000 new, a true old-school graphics workstation which is an increasingly rare breed, and I was able to source a refurb/display model for £2099.99. Adding another 2TB SSD and 3 ram sticks is possible, 2 rams and the ssd would bring the total to 2400. I can re-use the old SSD from the W530 containing all my work, leaving the 1TB SSD for the OS and software tools.
Ive added a wishlist of accessories like a bag, sidekick monitor, even more ram, etc which I can save up for and slowly accrue going forward making the ultimate portable art office.
I would simply never have been able to buy a machine this capable without you guys. My credit rating is garbage so upgrading has always been out of reach. Each month your support goes to a paypal account and finally filled up to the level allowing me to put this plan into action. I am so thankful and grateful to you all, supporters past and present, please accept my greatest gratitude and thanks. I hope this machine will last many years and all the art work I will create on it I dedicate to you.

The new machine will arrive tomorrow so I will report back more when I have finally got Blender running and joined the modern realtime world!
