Added 2021-03-22 20:58:59 +0000 UTCThe red dunes had been advancing a metre per day accross the parched floor of the abandoned valley for almost 20 years, driven by a steady dry wind out of the deep desert before the first worm, number 35, rumbled accross them, leaving a broad swathe of flattened date palms and demolished buildings in its path. Its trail of destruction discribed a broad cresent shape as the worm then turned and eventually passed back out of the valley into the greater erg from where it had emerged. The Arrakiforming of Chapterhouse was nearing completion..
