Caladan
Added 2020-12-10 16:18:15 +0000 UTCNot Patreon work, but as the graphic book is now out I figure it cant hurt to show you guys the work I did. Keep it under your hat for now tho just in case! ;) Here is my thoughts for Caladan, ocean world and home of House Atriedes.
It's heavily influenced by my childhood spent in the West Coast of Scotland, a place with huge glacial valleys and coastline and very moody weather! Not ideal if you want a sun tan but very dramatic and grand looking.
I imagined Paul playing as a child in the grassy dunes and the ocean surf with the kids from the fishing town below the fortress that is the official residence of the Atriedes on Caladan and their government, his true identity a secret..
I also designed Arakeen and the Residence of the Planetary Governor, the Harkonnen
