Long before the Mercedes 560 SEC or the BMW 850i, Jaguar, in 1975, presented its own Gran Tourer, the impressive XJS V12.
From July 1981, the XJ-S was renamed the XJ-S HE and received the new High-Efficiency V12 engine, with a power output increased to 295 hp / 299 PS.
The 1982 Jaguar XJS V12 might not have topped the charts for refinement, speed, or efficiency among its GT counterparts. Yet, it brought to the table a captivating blend of power, elegance, and undeniable British charm.
