I imagined a fremen putting a loved one's ashes to rest, to become one once more with the desert. An ornate thumper is placed with the remains so that Shai-Hulud might take their soul home.
And the strange object in a corner of Area X.. some people discribe it as a kind of tunnel, others insist it more closely resembles a sort of tower. On its wall, written in living matter, a disturbing poem or sermon. What is down the spiralling steps? Soon we will find out, I fear.

2020-03-03 14:38:20 +0000 UTCCheck out the Annihilation audiobook which may or may not be available on a certain video uploading website.. i bought the sequels on Audible and raced through them 2 and 3 times each. Very confusing and strange and satisfying to slowly fill some of the blanks.
