Porsche 959 S - 1988 (Assetto Corsa Mod)

The Porsche 959 S was a package available to the 959 "Sport" that increased power output to 515 PS (380 kW; 510 bhp) thus resulting in a top speed of 339 km/h (211 mph) as tested by Auto, Motor und Sport at Nardo in 1988.
The “Sport” version, of which only 29 are built, undercuts the weight of the “Komfort” version by 100 kilograms.
Thanks to modified turbochargers, increased boost pressure and adjusted ignition and fuel injection, the engine delivers an additional 65 hp.

The technical specifications of the car were adjusted, in order to correspond as much as possible to the original model of the time.
The criteria in general are similar to those used by Kunos, in order to allow comparison with original Kunos models whenever possible.
Two particular aspects to mention:
- power loss from 4wd is usually much higher, for a car of this era and this category (Supercar/Hypercar), between 18-20%. Not having precise data, I considered 18% as it is a technologically very advanced car, particularly with regard to its innovative PSK 4-wheel drive system.
- weight calculated in CM Content Screen, it's the Curb Weight, it doesn't include the driver's weight, but also doesn't include the fuel weight. In the case of the Porsche 959 S, the weight claimed by the brand does not correspond to that tested by independent sources, so I adjusted it to the minimum weight tested in reality.
The 3D model is not perfect, namely the lack of working wipers, and the lights that are not at the best level. Still, pretty good!
As far as technical specifications are concerned, the result is not equally perfect, but certainly very close to reality.
