updated v1.3RS
The Porsche 959 is a sports car manufactured by Porsche from 1986 to 1993, first as a Group B rally car and later as a legal production car designed to satisfy FIA homologation regulations requiring at least 200 street legal units be built.
When it was introduced, the twin-turbocharged 959 was the world's fastest street-legal production car, boasting a top speed of 195 miles per hour (314 km/h).
During its production run it was hailed as the most technologically advanced road-going sports car ever built, and forerunner of all future super cars.

I tweaked the data files trying to match the actual model specs and thus get similar performance - namely top speed and acceleration times (0-100kmh / 1/4 mile / etc).

To get a mod that correctly simulates the real model, I had to adjust many parameters, in particular:
- weight (curb weight), weight distribution, to get the phisics right
- drivetrain with correct ratios, adjusted to wheels radius, to achieve the real speed/acceleration at a given rpm in a given gear
- power adjusted to match the correct power curve, or at least the correct max. torque rpm and max bhp rpm.
- transmission loss to be adjusted mainly according to the type of traction, but I also consider the year of manufacture of the vehicle, and if it is more or less race-oriented.
- suspention adjusted to the type of auto, if it's more or less race-oriented, it's age, it's weight, weight distribution...
- tyres, adjusting the grip level can radically change the behavior/performance of the vehicle
- brakes, adjust according to the vehicle age and performance level
- aero, getting the drag and downforce/lift levels right it's also essential to achieve the right top speed, and cornering performance.
It's also important to keep a coherent criteria between vehicles so that you can race/compare them correctly.
