Development log#7

Greetings, dear adventurers!

A huge thank you to each of you for making this possible! Your support has been and will always be the backbone of our journey together.

Release 0.2.4 was just a few days ago but I'm already back on the settle working hard for the next release! 

Your positive feedback and support have been incredibly motivating, inspiring me to keep enhancing the game with each release. I'm truly grateful and delighted that the game's graphical quality has been met with such praise. It's a labor of love, and each scene on the screen is crafted with immense care and attention to detail. There are still issues of course, and don't ever hesitate to report them. I always try to fix things between releases, being images, typos or bugs.

Right now, things to focus on this week:

- There was some issues with the card engine reported, I'm currently working on that. The bug is hard to replicate sometimes as it doesn't happen always so I'm trying to understand what's wrong on the game logic.

-Fixing bugs, typos and images that were reported.

-There was a couple of suggestions made that I'm considering implementing for the next release. Mainly on tracking scenes missed/achieved/still missing for each girl. I need to find a proper way to do it

-I want to work on a equipment UI. Right now the items that you buy ingame only have a visual representation on the moment of purchasing it, but I want to have like a bag icon where you can click and see what items you have, coins, etc. Maybe a button to see the card collection also even when not in game.

-Starting to work on day 9 and then will move on to day 10 and 11. The game took a more serious note on this last events but I plan to return to the more light hearted/comical daily adventure feel. Nonetheless I want it to be felt that this attack had impact and repercussions, so expect some characters/parts to have been affected. I will try to mix the return to a "normal average day" but with the stakes being there and the always present Lilith's threat.

-I want to work more on the idea I had for the secondary combat. It will be some kind of optional minigame, where you can fight some evil soldiers/other things and gain coins or items. I have some neat ideas on how to implement it but I will need some time to put it in place. So maybe it will not be for the next release yet. Need to see if I have the time to do it since it will require a new UI and maps.

-I'm considering on doing a behind the scenes on the amount of editing and post work I do on photoshop in order to achieve the high quality/consistency. If this format would be interesting let me know and I would start doing it in a separate day from the Devlog!


Next release date I'm pointing batteries to 8 of March. I will update the date if needed in the next devlogs(before or after).
