How I use Boost Post (ADs) on instagram

Hey guys! I got asked this question by a member the other day so now i'm making the video on it!

Boosting your posts is a very simple process.

The TWO main thing that matters when boosting your post are:

• The TYPE of content your boosting

• Your analytics

First off you want to make sure your account is a professional account and not a personal so you can see all of your analytics because we're going to take the data from the analytics to figure out what we need to be doing for the boost post.

Use your analytics to see where people are looking at your content, what time they're looking at it the most, and what type of content has done the best. Whatever type of content has done the best on your page, this is the type of content you're going to want to make for your boost post ad.

Once you've figured out what works on your page you're going to CREATE a post pertaining to it being somewhat of an ad but in the style that's done the best on your page with a CALL TO ACTION.

Take THIS video for example.

• I know the format of reels that works for my pages, I created a quick and clear video on me promoting my services for a discounted rate which was the call to action. This was the perfect format for boosting because that post alone got me over 10 bookings for that next month and I only paid $50 on the boost post AD.

After you've done that go ahead and tweak your audience suggestions but first make sure you have the traction going to your website that you have linked in your bio and not just your instagram page. Only do your page if you're trying to gain followers.

Make sure you're only boosting to the areas you're trying to service, so for example, I stay in Tallahassee so i'm boosting to Tallahassee and all the surrounding counties.

Same with the age range, With my niche graduates come in all ages but i tend to get people between the 18-40 age gap but as for parents searching for photographers for their children as well you I can keep it kind of higher.

Add in your interests - So you know you're only going for people interested in photography/videography so use that and then Use the suggested interests as well because they help a lot with fine tuning.

After that, it's all about the budget. I try to stay between $100-300 per boost ad because that's literally the price of 1 shoot. So all i need out of all of those thousands of people that are going to look is 1 booking to make my money back.

All in all, it's all literally just about DATA. The more you do this, the more you post, the more you figure out what works and what doesn't it's going to shape you into actually getting the most out of using this feature on instagram guys!
