After the sketches you see here, I made separate layers for their bodies just to get the anatomy down more. I consulted a powerful GL webcomic master and she gave incredible feedback. I still get feeling when I see them holding each other like this.
ALSO YEAH THEY FALL BUT ONLY A LITTLE!
This was a lesson in what I should show in panels. In my mind, I know Nola can float on her own without being a dragon, as well as having dragon strength! However, with the panels here it really did come off as a skydiving kiss. Honestly I didn't mind seeing the mixed comments of both fear and delight from you guys haha! ππ
