Opting into the New Billing Subscription Model
Added 2022-09-26 18:29:33 +0000 UTCThis is just a short message to let you guys know I've opted into the subscription billing where they charge new patrons a little differently.
It honestly should have been like this at the start but at least they finally came around.
Old Model: It used to work if you subscribed on, for sake of argument the 27th of the month, Patreon would charge you on the 27th and then the 1st of the following month so you were essentially double charged.
New/Current Model: But now, if you sign up on the 27th of this month, you will be charged on the 27th of this month and then again on the next 27th of the following month.
This has no change on current patrons but if you drop/resub, you will be put into this billing cycle which is preferable for all of us, I think.
I've included a link below from what they showed us if you have any further questions. If you can't find an answer to a question, let me know and I'll ask Patreon directly.

It shouldn't double charge anyone anymore, monthly or annually but let me know if it does and if I can prove it to Patreon, I'm sure we can sort it out!

2022-09-27 02:13:23 +0000 UTCWhat happens if a patron upgrades or downgrades their subscription? Upgrading or downgrading will not change a patron’s billing date. As happens today, patrons who upgrade get charged the outstanding amount straight away and get access to the higher tier straight away for the remainder of their billing period. Downgrades will remain on the original tier until the next billing date.
