Patreon's Changes for Sales Taxes!

Hey guys, just a friendly heads up about Patreon being required by law to start adding sales tax to more patron pledges starting July 1st. You should be getting an email about it from them by June 1st, but I wanted to give you a heads up as well.
I should preface this with the fact that not everyone will have to pay sales tax. Whether you are charged or not depends on where you’re located and if your location taxes the perks I offer in my tiers, (exclusive audios, artwork, videos, etc.)
Patreon believes that, for most patrons, the impact should be minimal, and many patrons won’t see any sales tax added to their pledge at all.
If you do end up paying sales tax, you should see an additional line item on your receipt for the sales tax starting July 1st.
I’ve also gone through my tiers and marked off exactly what I offer in an attempt to optimize the results and hopefully save you guys a small amount in some cases.
I know this isn’t preferable but I just wanted to keep you guys updated on what’s going on.
