help with my image

I discovered this not long ago, but the image I put in PNG format is transformed into a webp format image?
I don't know if it's normal but I don't see it normal that my image changes format while I have it in png format
I also open webp formats on other Patreons than mine.
Can someone help me understand what's going on with this?
