Damn What a Response! Thank You Everyone!
Added 2020-04-04 00:22:35 +0000 UTCHoly moly! Every time I'm blown away by the incredible response and support, thank you so much everyone! I thought I was rolling the dice a little there with a slower paced and more mysterious/horror styled ending but it's awesome to see you guys enjoyed it.
Just to clarify the current plan moving forward. Yes this marks the end of the Retributors story (for now?) but by no means the end of the Astartes project. As hinted at in the after credits clip the concept is to jump to different chapters of Space Marines, telling new short stories in new locations with new characters, factions, enemies etc. I envision this as a 4 or so part anthology series. After that who knows, I'd love to do some pieces with other races/factions as the focus someday, or maybe even something on a larger scale...but I can't deny that the short story format is my passion and I have a strong taste now for the creative freedom this project provides :)
The next video I have in mind would solidify the anthology concept and I'll be asking everyone again for some chapter inspiration for that! (Will make a new post about that soon).
I'm going to be taking a little break from the desk, not that I can get that far what with this virus situation, so forgive me if response times are a little slow.

2020-11-10 05:00:41 +0000 UTCI loved that change of pace for part 5, it was a perfect transition to another aspect of 40k, the Eldritch and Ancient Horrors that stay dormant in our Galaxy. Wich was also masterfully rendered with that atmospheric and bone chilling musical score and sounds, like you where in a Chtulhu flick. Wich shows that not only graphics are important to convey something, Sound design is as much important, and your sound design is MAster grade, the sound aid getting a feeling of what you see, the weight of the marines, the brutality of their assault and the Bolters firing are soooo satisfying, its a real eargasm.
