This was staggering to say the least. And the performance only augmented everything that makes this song great. Seriously one of the best. We explain why, and talk about a lot of things in the video so I'll stop here, but just know that this REALLY WAS amazing.
And just to clarify, since the editing made it sound a bit weird there, but at 13:30, I'm saying "not just about themselves, BUT about themselves as SVT, an idol", cuz we often do see idol groups talking about their past struggles, or current problems in a vague way, and how the idol life can be hard in an indirect way, but what S Coups did felt extremely direct and specific, and I appreciated his forthright approach. And yes, you DO see this sometimes, but not in a song that sounds like this. So all in all, it's just how different things are present together, from the genre, the style, to the lyrics...it's an odd combination that makes it unique.

2025-11-02 00:29:46 +0000 UTCAs a Carat who physically attended Ode to You, second time ever seeing them after Kcon, this is the track I was very much looking forward to see live. Sadly, S.Coups wasn't physically present for the leg of Ode to You I watched. His verse along with DK got me through so much, I am eternally grateful this entire song exists and I found it when I needed it. The next time I physically saw them, S.Coups was the only voice I was not prepared to hear. The audio from any usual streaming site of any track he is in does not fully embody the quality and raspiness of his rap and vocal tone live, it does not give it justice. I am impressed anytime they release a new track but seeing him live, no one can prepare for that. This song is a personal lifesaver.
