I'm not expecting you guys to react to everything obviously, just do whichever you're most interested in π : Adore U era : - Bindaettok gentlemen cover : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJpm5-262OY No idea how they ended up covering such an old song but it's quirky and hilarious. It made quite a stir in (sitll tiny) Caratland back then and gained them some more fans. Mansae era : - MAMA 2015 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj0_LwbFogE Their first ever award show performance was a collab with their besties Monsta X. Seventeen's part starts at 2:35 but Monsta X's performance is super cool too. Also an absolutely ICONIC dance break by the performance team. - Where's My Friend's Island : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipbpu_FvvfY The whole thing is ~40 mins but I only linked ep. 6 because the rest is kinda basic (1N2D trip, mostly cooking and playing games). Anyway this was the moment that made the fandom certain Seventeen's bond was deep and strong and would last no matter what they went through. There's just something about the way they joke around but also reassure each other, you can tell they're in it for the good and the bad. However I always thought the first melody lines (Woozi and Joshua'parts) seem a bit tricky and they often sound slightly off-pitch live. Anyway this is it for Seventeen's first ful-length album ! While this album still has sweet love songs and others that are full of youthful energy like their first 2 minis, it also introduces a more mature side to them, like a teenager realizing that the future that awaits them isn't as beautiful and perfect as they first imagined. From this album on, the songs become a lot more introspective (literally 3 of the 5 songs from the repackage are about the pressures of their job and how it affects them). For me, this album was the first big jump in quality in terms of their music, the songs sound more polished and you can tell they're starting to actively try out new things. The 2nd big jump was Going Seventeen so I can't wait until you get to that album !
