HOLY SHIT this was a curve ball. The performance vid was supposed to be a casual exercise that'd warm us up for the main event that is the music video, but ....guess we ordered two mains, cuz this performance ROCKED.
We're so glad some of you mentioned this vid, and without hyping us up too much, cuz...yeh, it reminded us of the times when you'd resist spoiling banger tracks until we react to it and we'd be like "YOU WERE HIDING THIS ALL THIS TIME?!". Yeh, that good ol' days. That's what this felt like. This particular clip. We already know the track from inside out. How.

utopia really has one of my favorite live performances, it's just so unexpected and beautiful! I have to say I'm not really a HUGE fan of remixes or other language versions of songs in general but the latin version of say my name is the one remix that I really fuck with, my friend and I discovered it randomly when we were first getting into ateez 3 years ago and had the time of our lives with it

2025-09-05 21:08:00 +0000 UTCI've never seen this performance of Utopia, so thank you lol ❤️ - I was thinking of the performance they did on The Show in 2022, but found out they also have a clip from when they performed it live during the Immortal Songs concert in 2023. I don't listen to the Japanese versions of their songs because usually the cadence and flow is so similar that I almost can't tell the difference, especially because I don't know Korean and Japanese 😂. The only songs I listen to that are not originals are Rocky (Boxers ver.) and Still Here (Korean ver). Rocky boxers version has a way more forward guitar that really just takes that song from like a 6.5/7 to 8.5/9 for me. And Still Here Korean ver has Mingi's verse added and paired perfectly with Yunho's part.

The first game Yunho and Jongho actually went to see so they didn't know until later. Hongjoong said he was watching the match in the studio with the the producer hyungs. When it ended they were like OK time to get to work when suddenly... HEY THAT'S OUR SONG! 2025-08-31 21:43:42 +0000 UTCI agree that language can change the mood of a song. Whether it's Korean or Japanese, I don't understand the lyrics; I focus more on how the sounds make me feel. Is the energy or the feeling the same? In the case of Utopia, I would say the two are similar. I don't have a preference, and I listen to both equally well.
