It feels like, yes, with 2020 GoSe, every episode subverts our expectation in the best way possible. Being a K-content watcher for a long time, you tend to have a certain expectation, especially with Idol-related variety shows, when you see a certain format.
The food thing was one (from last time), and mafia is another...but SVT & the crew KNOW this very well, and tries their best to change things around. And sure, lots of people try. They know people are sick of seeing the same thing over and over again. But many fail. And when you fail, you fail HARD, cuz it makes things WORSE.
Not SVT tho guys. They SUCCEED.
You get the point. This was super fun. Instead of yapping, let us just to point out some things like we did last time!
~4:00 Easy to guess, but just to add extra context: when they're talking about the whole fishing thing, you can think of it as the same thing as how we use 'bait' (as in clickbait, etc.). So it quite literally IS fishing, and that's why when the failed sign shows up at 4:05, it's actually showing someone fishing.
~14:00 Again, it's pretty much explained in the caption itself, but the use of Gwa here is very much consistent when talking about medical department / discipline. A simple way of thinking about this is to say department of anesthesiology, pediatrics, etc. but instead of how it's used here, it's basically used in an everyday conversation when trying to say "I went to the ENT" or "I went to ER", etc.

Mingyu and Hoshi At this point is like THE DUO who owns Don't Lie , their chaotic rivalry is what I look forward to when ever there's a new season. U guys better be prepared for the chaos. Personally my favourites are Don't lie season 3 and 4, but that being said other seasons are nothing less than amazing. There's so much good content up ahead, I m glad ur doing GOSE 2020 , cos most EPIC GOSE projects start here and they are so well recieved that they end up getting multiple seasons. OH I LOVE GOSE. ❤️

One of the best within GOSE! I can’t wait until you watch them all! Episode 2 is definitely the best one and the 3 episodes in 2023 you have to watch in order they are all so good!

2025-08-29 14:55:39 +0000 UTCLETS GO DONT LIE YESSS !! oh wow i was so excited for this!! and I'm so glad to see you enjoy it so much What I like about their twist is that the money-finding part pits civilians against *each other*, which adds another layer of mistrust because it's esentially an individual game. Whoever finds the money gets it and it's really up to them if they want to share it or not. And like you said, they have to multitask to look out for mafias while looking for the money (and the mafias have to keep them *away* from the money but not draw too much suspicion to themselves). Plus, the members read each other well but they can also act very well as mafias too. It's no wonder dont lie is one of the most famous series in GoSe Each installment of Dont Lie just gets more elevated in terms of production, the twists and how fun they are, I assure you 🤭🤭 Excited for the second part later down the line!! Love seeing you play along with guessing the mafia Ahh we have Past Life Destiny nextt, that one is a completely different genre, looking forward to it!! p.s. Kudos to mingyu for coining "Don't lie" and "TTT" 👏 truly a creative genius

Such a new format and literally the start of legendary episodes. You're going to be surprised by the amount of references and knowledge these people have haha. Can't wait for next eps and S2 and S3 of Don't Lie, it's gonna be a wild ride.

GoSe's production and editing team is amazing !

Personally I think the 2nd part is the most interesting one—it also has the highest views and the most meme-worthy moments (though of course, the third part definitely doesn’t disappoint either haha). I’m already looking forward to your reactions to them! Thank you as always for being so engaged and giving such thoughtful feedback. It’s really fun to rewatch together with you every week<3 —— Edit: OMG I forgot that there was also a series in 2023!! How could i forget that?!! The series in 2023 is FANTASTIC as well😙
