Oh what a well put together episode this was....starting with the subject, the games themselves, all the way to the beautifully (failed) twist at the end XD it was a perfectly done storytelling....not to mention hilarious XD
It seems like most people wanted us to continue with 2020 episodes, so we'll do that for now (unless things change in this comment section), and instead of talking about random stuff, we'll just leave you with some extra context for certain parts !
11:21 - It's as you read it, but it's funnier in Korean because it reads like (one who eats well opening parentheses). And yes, Hoshi technically did say, "there should be a text saying, open paranthesis, one who eats well" so the staffs decided to play with his phrasing and decided to quote from "open paranthesis".
11:52 - I'm personally pretty sure that this one actually IS "you ate well right?", but it CAN sound like how have you been so that's where the confusion happened. Whatever the case, it's funny when DK says it in his tone XD
32:44 - When Mingyu says "15 seconds", the caption above him says "he is nolboo"; nolboo is a character from an old Korean tale, a greedy, mean, older brother who basically harasses his younger brother. We even have a word, Nolboo-attitude, to describe anyone who's being mean to someone for no reason, or out of greed.
32:54 - The text reads "40 decibel man" but then at the end they add a little ㅋ. If you didn't know, Koreans use multiple ㅋs to say "lol" or "hahaha", but using just one often is regarded as a scoff, or as someone mocking someone else in a condescending way (like "ha!"). Adds a little spice to the text that staffs put XD

The show really starts to hit a stride in the 2020 season and the episodes get even stronger building on the first quarter of the season.

Sometimes the cliffhanger is stressful LOL tq guys..I'm so happy that we got to watch current GoSe on the middle of hectic week (Wednesdays) and having throwbacks here on weekends with 2020 GoSe and Marathon.

Next episode is the famous Don't Lie, and it's gonna be so fun! It really started an iconic series for Going Seventeen. And for your questions: Jeonghan and Scoups were taking a hiatus for health reasons back when they filmed it. Jeonghan came back in January but Scoups only came back in March, so a few episodes (that they didn't film before he went on his hiatus) will be without him. Don't Lie isn't part of the monthly seventeen host, it's one they filmed it in 2019. Also, the members gave the staff the base ideas and then the staff developed it, you'll see it mentioned here and there. I'm really liking that you're doing double episodes now! I'm guessing it's harder on you, so thank you for working hard! EDIT: Jeonghan's ankle injury is actually from 2023. Back in 2019-2020 he was suffering from a very weakened body and stress to his nervous system from their hectic schedule and had to take a rest.

Jeonghan was in hiatus due to symptoms of dizziness during their 'Ode To You' World Tour in 2019 but came back at the end of dec 2019/beginning of 2020, while Coups was in hiatus due to being diagnosed with anxiety so he was resting for a while. That why you may see him here and there. He talked about this during their documentary "HIT THE ROAD" (2020). It's a must watch for me, it may be a little heavy but one can really appreciate their hard work even more. "Don't Lie" is going to blow your mind because these people love play mind games😭 I can't wait for you to understand just how deeply their bind is because you're gonna feel in love with them even more.
