I wish I could contribute some more coherent thoughts to this other than this but - han jisung is my ult, my comfort person, he and skz well and truly saved my life. I found skz at my worst and it got somehow even worse before it got better, but han's music played a huge role. it's funny because while it is like you say not really about solving the problem but more about acknowledging it, I think it's also that acknowledging it is the first step to solving it. idk if that makes any sense lol, anyways I love han and hanpop, I love y'all, and to all the sausages who relate to secret secret, I promise it gets better

2025-05-07 05:17:24 +0000 UTCmy goodness, I have been waiting to actually get back in to this bcuz I LOVE THIS FAN CAM SOOOOOO MUCH. i focused on Han so much throughout this fan cam, that when I finally saw a full fan cam of all of them, I realized that he messed up the choreography at one point. And it made me laugh, because I literally never noticed it until I watched the full fan cam of all of them because I honestly have only been watching the fan cam of Han. lol Daddy is so real Han-C. LOL NOT D'SOME ANSWERING 🤣😂🤣. HAN-C biting his fist and giggling is SO FRIGGING VALID. yeah, the most replayed part of that video is definitely burned into my head. So when I listen to that song, I can picture that moment vividly. Who mentioned nipple twisting? D'some what? i actually don't think I've ever seen this performance of secret secret. oh I lied. I've seen clips of this, but never the full performance, because I definitely remember the sungla moment where he's like singing so strongly and his hand keeps moving the mic. Adlibonization also needs to be merch. i can definitely see what you're saying D'some about Han and all of the songs that he writes. i've always felt that Hans music expressed a part of himself that he may have been dealing with for a long time and like you said, yeah, it's not really finding a resolution, but it's more so accepting the problem. Talking about the problem and kind of getting that weight of holding the problem in off of your shoulder. And also, it's kind of like if anybody else is experiencing this problem or this issue, you're not alone I go through it too, and it kind of offers that kind of levity is that the word? But I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Hans songs because I relate to them on such a deep and emotional, personal level. And I hate that you relate to it too D'some, and that you can't talk about it. but also on the flip side of that, I feel like it's because he's gone through what he has gone through that he has that empathetic and sympathetic intelligence to where he can see something that somebody else is going through or something from his animes or something from movies and he can write about it in such intricate detail that you also feel it in your bones like to your core and I've always found that amazing about his writing. and honestly, hyunjin is getting there too. annnnddd we're back to theories. im locked in. okay Han-C I can kinda see it. I absolutely want you to check out the making videos.

2025-05-03 22:30:52 +0000 UTCSecret Secret is such an interesting song because it's a really honest and realistic depiction of what it is to be someone actively trying to improve their mental health/situation- and that step above the can't get out of bed depression. It's the conviction to keep going but nothing is improving it just feels harder. I remember when I was in that stage and it was like sticking your head above water for a while only to be attacked by the cold wind and stinging ice that hurt sharply so it felt easier to sink down again. Silent Cry is important to me because it's the message not of 'we will heal you' but 'we will walk by your side, at your pace, because you matter to us'. I think I love Han's personal songs so much because each one feels like a chapter in the story of how he succeeds- even if he wasn't in a happy ending place at the time. Like you said, the act of writing can be an act of healing- and each song always had a mentality of I must keep going on some level. I've felt incredibly proud of Han watching him during my Stay lifetime as he's grown and gotten more self-aware, it seems he's worked on his social skills, on opening up, on understanding his emotions- and been fully upfront about it too. He seems to be in a good place now, and I feel like we're incredibly lucky that he is as open as he is.
