When Hyunjin and Bang Chan form a unit, it's hard to escape the feeling of being completely floored. Singing, growling, falsetto, looks, expressions .... everything at it's ultimate best. However it's hard to beat jazzy and lazy Han rap. Love his part in Truman.

2025-03-19 20:42:14 +0000 UTCThe genres seem different, but it’s like the teasers all are tied into a dystopian world, one where nobody fits into the world around them. We have changbin and IN doing a crazy rounds where they fight/battle with their skills maybe between them? But seemed to be tied into a video game theme. And then Han and Felix playing on Truman show and true man where the world around them is unlike them, they decide to go their own way after realizing they have been in a bubble with movements controlled by others, now being their true selves. Escape, breaking free from the chains of red lights, free to be themselves alone in the world with each other they don’t have to abide by societies rules. Cinema is a dystopian bleak landscape LK and Seungmin are fighting to reach where they want to perform, even if no one is watching, the world is their cinema, they are the players on stage and play for themselves. Those are my long rambling thoughts on each. However, given they all renewed their contract last year, they are now freer to express themselves, able to have more agency in their image, their music and decisions about their future. And I think it’s about exploring freedom, embracing individuality, enjoy every second of it and follow your passions and you will be happy.

But Burnin' Tires and Truman are also straight up fire, I wish the unveil included even one line from Burnin' Tires though. Also, thank you so much for reacting to the unveils. I can't with random people commenting on Truman saying Felix and Han were rapping "off-key" and "off-beat". So, having someone who actually KNOW about rap flows, beats, and making music is always very much appreciated.

2025-03-19 01:48:27 +0000 UTCI strongly believe that the SKZ renewal of contract is our blessing. Changbin expressing that there was a long time of worrying before it all came in place. It's my belief that some members, especially Seungmin, had a wish for exploring and developing their individual musical style within the new contract period, now resulting in the solos and unit songs. All to our gain and pleasure! There are some teasers/connections ... "Escape from reality", both found in Hyunjin's "So Good" and "Escape". "Come with me" written all over Bang Chan's back in one of the "Railway" stage performances. 😉

2025-03-19 01:30:39 +0000 UTCI am expecting Truman the most. It feels like Red lights, Railway and now Escape are totally in Bang Chan's style: huge, melodic and has a sexy vibe into it. It is also suits Hyunjin's style well. So, I am totally sure Escape could be very good. BUT Felix's solos are very different: Rev it up, Deep end and Unfair. It seems like he is experimenting and didn't find himself yet. Han knows what kind of music he wants to create, but he is a true creator and always open to try something new ( jazzy Twilight, rocky Hold my hand ect). So THIS COMBO is expecting to make something totally different and fresh. They have one common thing- both of them put lyrics first, so it would be very interesting.

2025-03-19 00:18:56 +0000 UTCOkay, I think this is the only time Patreon has notified me right when y’all posted it. Not complaining, though—it’s a nice change! Anyway, out of all the tracks, Han & Felix’s Truman surprised me the most, at least in terms of music/genre. For some reason, I expected it to lean more toward Han’s vibe—something mellow and soft. But instead, they went with Felix’s style, and it brings such a fresh energy to the album. I love that they took this direction. Also, I find it hilarious how Felix's voice doesn’t match his looks in the video at all. Changbin and I.N’s track, on the other hand, didn’t surprise me as much, though it’s still straight fire. Changbin’s songs tend to be very EDM-heavy with those techno elements, so this sound was expected. That said, pairing him with I.N was a great move. I feel like his high-pitched vocals add an interesting contrast that could fit surprisingly well with this genre. As for Bang Chan and Hyunjin’s track, I’ve seen a lot of comments calling it 'Red Lights 2.0,' but to me, it’s got that ‘stand up and fight for what you believe in’ energy. Like a ‘we’ve had enough, time to fight back’ battle cry kinda vibe. Definitely more of a revolution anthem than anything seductive. That’s just my first impression from the unveils—could hit differently once the full track drops! Also, I swear I heard Felix in the deeper parts too. Finally, the last track had me more surprised by the pairing than the song itself. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially with a title like Cinema, but after hearing it, the concept makes perfect sense. The high-value cinematics in the unveil really set the tone. But now that I think about it, the pairing does make sense too, since Lee Know and Seungmin have quite similar vocals to a certain extent and their voices seem to meld together really well. Also, I was wondering why the sound was so harsh and crisp on my ears, then I remembered I had my volume turned up high on my headphones from listening to hardcore techno just before, lol.

Based on a Naver article that came out, there is rumor that these songs will be replacing the solos for the American/European leg of the tour. I think I'm most excited about Truman, because I love the film and this sound in particular is my favorite hip-hop subgenre.

My impression of the "Escape" story: It feels that they're something like...... ........escaped prisoners who are "Ride or Die" best friends that will go down in flames together if they have to, because neither will leave the other one behind.

It definitely sounded like an aggressive title and yet listening to this I just get hype music. I get EDM club rave music. So when I was looking at the video as much as I could it looked like there were instructions in the chocolate bar. So it was like you do this. You get this amount of money and something else at the bottom. I don't know this is just speculation. This is not confirmed but I think that starts them on this whole race Journey thing. So the first round is a speed race. You see Binnie in the car and I.N on a motorcycle which oh my gosh (end me now). And they look so good. And then the second round is just a Chase which is very much giving me parkour. And then the final round is a dance battle which I cannot wait for. Yeah, I'm definitely trying to figure out the actual instrumental of the phone. This is definitely the song that I have the most questions about after saying all of the unveils. This one right here!!! Truman! I'm claiming it. Yes Han-C, hair erection for sure. Han-C again with the picture for D'some 🤣😹. I absolutely love the vibe that we are getting from this song and I need all of it and the music video this instant. It's his more melodical lazy rap and I love it so much. I love when the boy is lazy rap, period, full stop. Oh ESCAPE! I was NOT ready for this teaser. It genuinely had me on my ass. Lol angel D'some. I cant wait to see more of this video concept. And my goodness does hyunjins buzzcut fit so well. I love when we get the boys maniacal laughter. Hyunjin is really good at it. But also I.N when it came to cheese and of course bangchan. Oh like a kdrama for a dystopian world or something after some type of an apocalypse. And they have to survive or something. I could definitely see that. Yes Lee know and Seungmin is new. We don't get a lot of Lee know duos or Lee know solos honestly. So anytime he's paired with someone it's fabulous. And I cannot wait to hear this one and be emotionally wrecked. They look absolutely stunning in this video. And I'm sure the storytelling is going to be immaculate. And I absolutely cannot wait to get their vocals. The director of The escape music video is the same director for red lights and railway. But that's the only one that I absolutely know of for sure. I also think it's interesting that Truman what we got was all English. So I don't know if the song is going to fully be in English. But it was definitely an interesting way to go. If you guys watch their step out, they are set to release two albums this year. My thing is I don't know if this is considered the first album or the precursor to the first album because normally when they do mixtapes it's before an album drop, but their first album ever was called mixtape and it was an actual album so I'm not entirely sure what that. But I know we are definitely expecting at least one more album this year. I am looking forward to Truman the most.
