So glad to have D'Some on this reaction, I hope you're recovering well ! And this whole HxW project feels like Hoshi/Woozi were just having fun in the studio, experimenting and putting in all of their inside jokes and references in songs. Stupid Idiot is soooo fun too, it gives 2010s LMFAO/Psy etc... vibes, would love a reaction to it as well !

Their title track Last Night and the 2 B-sides Beautiful Monster and Leftover are phenomenal. Considering the amount of storytelling they put into this album. The B-sides tie into the title track as well. Also they had an award winning sci-fi author come up with a whole audio book for the story behind the title track- Last Night.

Also, D'some's kinda spot on on his explanation for the lyrics as some where mentioned by HooWoo during their ls. There are also hidden meaning to some lyrics like 'Salute' but you have to watch NANA Tour to understand the connection.

On stage they’re like the much cooler version of BSS (as I’m typing this I’m kind of afraid Seungkwan will suddenly appear to strangle me 😂😂) They have another subunit duo last year, Jeonghan x Wonwoo. Another unlikely pair, right? But they did an awesome job with their concept, which are very different from Hoshi x Woozi, Seventeen and BSS.

They had one track together in SVT's second full album Teen,Age called Bring It, then finally now we have an album BEAM. You should definitely check out Stupid Idiot it's so fun and club-like, it's clear they had fun with this album. There are also references to other stuff in 동갑내기's lyrics - salute is from Nana Tour (a variety show they went on during 2023), 호랑이 눈빛 is a reference to Hoshi's stage name, Cheers reference, Mansae reference, Super reference, Woozi is really good at that stuff!
