2025-03-16 20:05:48 +0000 UTCOf the two M/Vs that were released, this is the one that I was hoping you'd react to. This is the most simple, yet complex song/video I've seen in a while. As to your question about the ballerina, I feel like she's not a "typical" ballerina, but more of a "music box" type ballerina and represents something that is forced to perform whenever the viewer chooses and is simply a toy for entertainment. I love that you caught the "looks" every time he mentioned how we like it when he's in pain because if we put him in the ballerina's place, the he's simply a toy that is trapped and we create the drama (open the toy box) whenever we want to be entertained. His wordplay at the beginning was genius as well (what else did we expect, honestly). "When every scene's rolling in good" - us watching him like a movie and each drama is just another scene "There is nothing left to see right" - we're scanning everything from left to right in order to find something to focus on And then of course the "pain full of black" - painful Welcome to my TED talk. I need to go have some coffee now (╥﹏╥)

I also love how contemporary the music video is in terms of the dance and the overall art style and the blue tones match the overall mood really well. I saw the dancer as a stand in for both the fans/haters and the industry because one can't exist without the other and the message of the song like you said is all about that relationship and both the positive and negative sides
