During the concert we did dig Rock With You for sure but if you want a concert Anthem it would probably be Aju Nice and God of Music in my opinion but Rock with you live was still fire don’t get me wrong haha

2025-02-27 11:22:25 +0000 UTCRock with you. Yes I wanna rock with you!!! The 9th mini album Attacca released in 2021 is a continuation of Love theme they launched for the whole year. Starting with Bittersweet project, 8th mini album Your Choice and this album, they discussed all of the possible form and shape of love. As this is the first album they release after the announcement of all 13 members renewed 1 year early of their contract to continue working as Seventeen, Attacca in musical terms means to continue without stopping, symbolizing on how they will continue working as Seventeen to date. Hence the the main title rock with you have a structure of “no breather” and filled with up and down, how to say… if you listened to classical compositions have hogh and lows, cresendo and stuff (I am not music literate lol) translate to modern music. This album has a strong sound and more direct sounds emphasizing compassionate (열정적인) love. A very good album, my favourite track (honestly I cant choose) is the hip hop unit song titled I Cant Run Away (그리워하는 것까지) - I know the english title didnt give any justice to the beauty of the korean title and lyrics. Also I totally understand how you felt kinda taken aback on the structure of the song on where is the verse where is the pre chorus and everything.. Just wanna say that Woozi-Bumzu and prismfilter production can be slight (well a lot) unconventional in writing music so for usual verse a-prechorus-chorus-verse b-bridge-chorus typa listener it may be not so compelling but once you relate back to the lyrics and storytelling the song flow kinda make sense. Well, thats just for my carat otaku heart obsession lol. Anyway. Looking forward to the next one! Love, a Carat. 🌕💍

2025-02-26 03:03:16 +0000 UTCJust a fun fact for any former pop-punk girlies back in the day: Jordan Witzigreuter and Cameron Walker of The Ready Set have writing credits on this song. I remember thinking when this song first came out it felt weirdly nostalgic and familiar. This is why. You can really hear that pop-punk influence especially in the chorus. Anyway such a good song. It holds a special place in my heart!

One of my favourites, never get tired of saying how good seventeen sounds vocally so it was nice to your opinion and the comment about the contrast was really interesting as never noticed it even though have listen to this sounds hundreds of times!!
