I dare say getting into SVT and reacting to their variety contents have been one of the best finds of this year so far, and we thank you all for suggesting and supporting our journey :D
Not much to add here as we talk about everything along the way, but we will say that we are more than excited to check out the second part, and we have no doubt that every episode will deliver because it is SVT.

SVT's always had this level of friendships even in their first show variety show 'One Fine Day: Castaway boys' they are all the same with each other. They are so unique in that despite having 13 people in a group SVT are all close with each other without any smaller 'groups' within the group.

Don't Lie (Don = money in this case) Quick summary: Typical mafia game but they are required to find money hidden in the venue they are in and find the mafias while doing so! 2025-02-23 06:13:13 +0000 UTCtheir dynamic really is something special, they move flawlessly as a group, coups' famous explanation of their 'horizontal' status, not caring for honourifics. however as you guys may eventually see during going seventeen TTT eps and esp in the soop, they're comfortable and chilled that they don't tend to feel pressured to be present during all downtime activities, members will wander off doing whatever they want. also v strong ahjussi vibes since debut days. watching this series again w you guys has been really fun and special.

Like while they yes still call each other hyung, you'll still see Dino use informal language to Scoups who is 4 years older than him. While yes in other groups maybe those in close age drop honourifics, I feel like SVT are one of the only where it's this extreme. They've said multiple times how at this point in their relationship their is no 'up-down' hierarchy and it's one of the main reasons I fell in love with Seventeen and truly why you can call them a found family. They have this bond and understanding with each other that can only come with time, trauma and a lot of turbulence lol.

To debut. I think that is why. I love their friendship too,, I have been a Shinhwa fan for the longest time, they are also known for their friendship, but when I have discovered Seventeen. I have never felt more envious, they are eo's support system, yes they do joke around , A LOT, but you can see how they truly adore eo.

I remember when their TTT Hyperrealism episode (Going Seventeen) went lowkey viral in 2020 and every comment, korean or international, were versions of "I want to be part of this"/"I want to be friends with them so bad" 😂. People often have friends to have fun with, friends who they can get deep with, and very few friends who can do both. But Seventeen, despite having so many people, seem to have a ton of fun together while also having deep emotional connections with each other. It's really unique imo.

I also agree about the part is the connection forged between members are so special that it wasnt defined by time but genuinely created by putting trust and care to each other. Of course it wasnt built in one day but the amount of effort they have to bond is significant. they have strong ground rule with each other and tho sometimes may cross the line but the know exactly how to make amend which is amazing. Seventeen friendship is more to how say… 서로가 서로를 키우는 사이? They grow up together spending teenagers year and somehow always proud and rooting to one another as if you are with your kids. lol They lost all the food in the game and Na PD said that he is afraid that Carats may lashed out to them cuz making Seventeen hungry. but when the episode came out, all the carats in the comment were saying “sorry to Na PD and the production crew that our kids is so many and loud, you guys must have more hard time having to handle 13 hyper kids. no need to worry about us as long as everyone have fun” lol anyway. looking forward for the next one!

I have feelings that I want to see more of their contents so I can discover more of their personalities. They are my stress therapy. Just rewatching this again gives me joy but also stressing out while you both watch this for the first time. You want to root for them to win so they have food to eat. 2025-02-21 12:58:26 +0000 UTCThere’s a reason why Seventeen have a separate fandom called CUBICS (i think it comes from cubic zirconia, synthetic gem often substituting diamonds - cmiiw Carats), for those who are fans of only their variety contents. Because they’re absolutely entertaining. I believe a lot of Carats are envious of their friendship and chemistry as well, some even saying they don’t want to just be a fangirl/fanboy cos they’d prefer to be included in SVT friendship. But there are already many instances during fan calls/meetings where Carats and Seventeen members are teasing/joking with each other like besties. And it’s really nice to see such relaxed fan-idol connection.

"a person is lucky to have 1/2 close friends, but i already have 12 of them. so i am very grateful" also, the fact that watching their overall chemistry make one feel jealous is very relatable. wait until you see their one-to-one relationships, their in the soop, or the b-sides backstory. it might get worse 😂

Genuinely Scoups once said that not seeing the members for 10 days straight is awful to him. They really do love their team and love their crew.
