[Tier 3] SKZ - Thunderous (MAMA 2021 & KBS Festival)
Added 2025-02-11 13:00:10 +0000 UTCWe've checked out COUNTLESS videos of Thunderous and THESE two still managed to shock us. In fact, we'd go as far as to argue that these were the most shocking videos we've seen. MY GOSH.
Firstly, CRAZY that the full MAMA performance was this tight, and we thought Cheese was crazy. And secondly, who in the right mind would imagine that ANYTHING that we watch after the MAMA performance could surprise us? Well, the KBS festival version of Thunderous was not only BEAUTIFUL to look at, but they ALSO had arrangement changes and breaks that were different from the OG track. AND it was for a good cause.

I actually thought this was gona be the one where they performed in front of the Korean president (?) and UAE Shaikh (?) and dignitaries in Dubai festival I think. They had to be very circumspect…no LeeKnow being naughty! Awesome.

This is amazing” and then BOOM SURPRISE, I love that MAMA performance and the KBS is just chef kiss, the arrangement in the dance break and final part is just so majestic with all the scenario and dancers. I’m so excited for dominoooo one of my favorites and this album too

This performance is my absolute favorite 'live' performance of Thunderous (which is also my favorite SKZ song), so I rewatch it all the time, and I KNEW y'all would be blown away. It's so beautiful, so cleverly filmed, and the guys are all doing such fantastic work throughout. Truly so fantastic.

They’ve done so many for thunderous alone and I hope you guys get to see all of them (there’s a christmas squid games themed one that’s definitely a must watch). Plus really creative one’s for God’s Menu because they play a lot with the chef theme

2025-02-11 15:07:46 +0000 UTCyou have to be careful when you say anything along the lines of "how can anything be as good/better that this" because skz WILL take it as a challenge xD i love all their mama performances esp 2020-2022- they're just epic and grand! i wonder if they're gonna perform at mama in the coming years, since they haven't attended the past 2 years and everyone's got some beef with mama + they're at a point where they don't really "need" them. the arrangments for both thunderous performances were so amazing!! for domino i feel like the inkigayo performance is a must! Chan must have a gazillion versions of God's Menu and Thunderous, I swear. I LOVE his arrangements. You need to check out this version of God's Menu you might not have seen: 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon (I call this one "Master Chef Version") ^^^ during COVID, so there's no audience. But it's great. Han-C What is that Furby looking thing that you have in the background? They look so good. I love when three Roger does their sections and anything. Because we get new versions of things or new songs that they're never going to release 😩. They did their damn thing when it comes to rearranging their music for specific performances. These boys are amazing. And them with the guitar guns Absolutely. And then bang chan with his furry jackets. I love them so much. Yes that was real. Hyunjin is just crazy when it comes to dancing with props and it's almost always on fire. Yes exactly. It's like Thor's Hammer. Actually listening to this now I hear a little bit of the elements that they had in giant. Oh yeah no the boys go all out when it comes to Mama performances. I wish they had an album of all of the different arrangements that they've done of all of their songs. Because they're so amazing. Especially the Christmas version. It is a special stage. Hans hair looks fucking amazing in this video. Oh yeah it does look like double knot. I wonder if this is where they recorded the performance. I think it is. I'm going to have to double check that. I still don't know who does the laughing in this song. Honestly, it sounds like hongjoong 😂. Oh my goodness How long has Cookie been standing there?! I absolutely love this music break. And I love that they have the hats that cover their faces because you would really have to know who they are to know who's dancing. And there's a few of them that stand out like you know immediately who is dancing like Lee know and hyunjin but like it was so cool. The silence when the video ended was so fucking valid I cannot. Oh I'm so dumb I heard Han-C mention Subway and I thought he meant the train so I kind of got lost as to what we were talking about and then you said no we're going to Domino so I was legitimately thinking pizza. And now I really want pizza. I am so excited for y'all to hear all of the things that you guys haven't heard yet. Because there are some gems on this album. Absolute gems.
