Oh we LOVE this series SO much. :) We'll let this one speak for itself, but we do gotta say that we are so happy we decided to start this journey because it's the most fun we've had in awhile! AND with a 'new' group. We really hope you are having just as much fun!
Oh, and just wanted to add an explanation for some parts I stumbled across while scrubbing through the vid before uploading!
14:58 - I'm sure everyone knows, but he's saying 'hyung', which is not exactly the same thing as a friend!
15:03 - Under Hoshi's name, it says 'President of Seungkwan PTA'
17:36 - Where they talk about the way Vernon writes film reviews, the writing below the 4.7 rating is actually a modified version of one of the OG chain letters popular in Korea XD Thought that's super funny.

2025-04-24 05:57:51 +0000 UTCthe inside joke of dino shaving came from a going seventeen episode named ‘insomnia zero’ where the aim was to keep your heart rate as stable as possible, those who succeeded could leave early and so to make each other lose, seventeen would make really ridiculous jokes to make a member’s heart rate spike - this is where the joke came that dino drinks all the time and to sober himself up, he comes home late and starts shaving😭😭 since then they’ve never left him alone about it! another joke that came from insomnia zero is the one where woozi loves wearing pink underwear🤣

2025-02-10 03:32:03 +0000 UTCthese reactions made me laugh so much, I love rewatching game caterers because it showcases svt's interactions and dynamics so well :) also some recs for gose episodes (the show's been going on for years so there's a huge amount of content to go through) - don't lie!! it's probably the most well known series out of all their gose episodes where they play the mafia game. hoshi thrives in don't lie and the mingyu-bullying is at full force haha - episodes 40 and 41 are inspired by the truman show, and you get context for the joke about joshua loving water - svt's special video for their fifth debut anniversary where they pretended to be other members (I think this is where dino's electric razor joke originated lol) - episode 23 and 24 aka seventeen's got talent; it's an iconic gose episode within the fandom - their horror episodes! svt does a halloween special every year and ego (ep 27 and 28) is amazingly well written and acted out by the members

So it's not a neutral phrase like 'They do not take anything from me' but rather something close to 'well, not Items...' which clearly implies that they do take SOMETHING, which is inevitably funnier in Korean because of the grammatical subtlety :)

I wish you would react the 1-3 and 1-4 alltogether but its okay do it on your pace. any seventeen content is great for me lol. also heads up or to say spoiler that Seventeen dynamic is unique on their own way. they addressed each other informally all the time. they have nicknamed banmalteen cuz they have tendency to call hyungs by name even they have 4 years different. and also the funny part is, on casual note they were like friends but when working professionally, they really respects their leaders and have their own 질서 that feels practically rigid like when you are in military. they have push and pull relationship that is so charming making its easy to fall in love with them. from far 13 seems like a big intimidating number but when come to know them, the circle become small and familiar that 1 person missing makes them looks like 5 members group lol

Iirc DK was supposed to go with his real name and DK was supposed to be Mingyu's stage name but for some reason (that I cannot remember) Mingyu kept his real name and Seokmin became DK. They tend to call dk dokyeom most of the time, but sometimes they'll call him seokmin so just fyi i guess Woozi's real name is Jihoon (Woozi means 'Uri Jihoon'), Hoshi's real name is Soonyoung, Joshua's Korean name Jisoo, and Vernon's korean name is Hansol. You'll also hear these names from time to time as they are used interchangeably by the guys sometimes.

Fun fact: - Scoups is the youngest in his family, but oldest in svt. The exact opposite with Dino. And Woozi is the only child at home but he is perfectly in the middle of svt. THE IRONY - When we arrange their name by age group, they'll form a diamond shape 💎 and Carats make them shine! Just a heads up, Dino is teased A LOT by his 12 hyungs, and it's honestly the most realistic big brother thing to do

2025-02-07 13:47:17 +0000 UTCthe fanchant is in age order with a small change, DK is the oldest of the 1997 liners (DK, Mingyu, The8) and he's the 8th oldest in total but becasue Minghao wanted to be the 8th in the fanchant order, they switched the order so now Minghao is the 8th and DK is the 10th in the order. And Mingyu and Dino are basically the punching bags of svt lol, they are always the ones who get teased the most, especially Mingyu
