Alright, obvious observations aside, this was a fitting last episode with one of the best performances from the series, and oh boy, HanKnow Pop always hits different. There's something about them together that not only makes the music 'sound' different, but also just makes the music itself turn out different. You'll see what we mean once you see us talk about it but...it's GOOD. That's the point :D
As always, we got something new coming up, so while it is goodbye with TKS, it also is another 'hello' ;)

2025-02-05 00:39:49 +0000 UTCHands down, my favorite 2Kids Show performance was Seungmin/Han doing Hold On and Volcano. I need the duet versions recorded ASAP. Chemistry-wise, I think I enjoyed Hyunjin/Changbin together the most. Just cuz they're so silly. Changbin literally cannot help but flirt with Hyunjin and Hyunjin giggling is healing to the soul lol. While I'm not a big fan of ppl who are obsessed with shipping "couples" in groups, I find Minsung so cute--the way Han handles LK is hilarious sometimes. It's also funny and kinda refreshing that they're leaning into it and Skz staff plays into it as well. Whether it's real real or mostly fan service, as long as nobody is being forced to do anything, it's all good to me.

I think Changbin actually got a little emotional. And that made ME emotional when I first watched it. He's the biggest cheerleader for everyone in the group, I think. 2025-02-03 22:07:28 +0000 UTCFor me this and Seungmin and Han doing Volcano/Hold On are my favourite performances I tend to come back to. Want so BAD is not my typical genre but I adored it, it's kind of addictive and clever but it was such a surprise drop. I love Han and Lee Know working together because they have that really good rapper vocalist blend and their energy matches well. Han and Seungmin blend more in a rock vocal way but Lee Know and Han reminds me a little of Seungmin and Changbin when they work together- contrasting but complimentary. I know Han really loved Limbo when Lee Know wrote it and Lee Know often mentions liking Han's songs, I think they click really well musically (and in everything else it seems). I hope they work together to write sometime it would be really interesting. Also I love this interview because they have such married friends energy. They really are just a unit that become stronger together, Lee Know is a little softer but still mischievous, Han is a little more confident and mischievous. They just give out this vibe of contentment to be honest, they're happy in their own little world together whatever they're doing. It's such a precious thing. To be honest knowing their backgrounds their relationship fascinates me. Han struggled to socialise and manage friendships when he was younger and Lee Know has mentioned he had a 'harsher' personality at the beginning with a very small circle of friends but Han has described them as being soulmates since pre-debut and Lee Know was only there for 6 weeks before the survival show and they debuted a few months after. Somehow they met and just clicked and they've been like that pretty much ever since in what seems like a really healthy and balanced way. It's lowkey magical and I want that π.

And the whole episode is peak minsung content, which is always delightful; SKZ in general are so close that it's easy to get frogboiled about what constitutes a normal level of intimacy between them vs other people, but minsung always manages to dial that up to eleven. The exchange about Han saying "it's too grand to say [our relationship] was fate," followed by Lee Know raising a single eyebrow at him, and Han quickly changing to, "all right, it was fate," for instance, would be deeply intimate on its own, but then you've also got Han saying that Lee Know is like air to him, and the metaphor about being trees in a forest, or a tree and a woodpecker, or Han being Lee Know's vacation home - a place you go to rest, that most people don't have but that everyone wants - and it's like... we're so used to them saying this sort of thing about each other that it can almost pass as unremarkable, but can you imagine saying any of this about anyone in real life? Out loud, on camera, with an audience, sincerely, off the cuff? It would be difficult to say that about a partner, let alone a friend! Truly insane behaviour!

I love WSB and also Hold On with Seungmin and Han, which gave be goosebumps pretty much from the get go. Seungmin and Han's voices are just beautiful together.

And YES the voice of LK and the rap of Han I think is the perfect combination. Stayville the day they dropped this was shocked bc it was a totally surprise and the first time they have a song together, it was a really good day for all of us. But no matter what they do that is a Hanpop song and we love it like we always love HanPop. Not Changbin trying to downplay the fact that he is like the captain of the minsung ship πΉ. What do you mean Han is handsome now? He's always been handsome. That was his Suzy flirty smile. The fact that Han described Changbin as a fire was hilarious because as a Leo sign he is also a fire sign and it's very true. They really are soulmates. See I find that funny because I don't think Chung bin was uninterested in what they were talking about. It's just a well-known fact that changbin sucks at multitasking. But because he's an MC he knows he has to react and I think that's what that was. Like. He was looking at the next question but he was reacting where he should react as an MC. Hans face when he realized that calling Lee know a Woodpecker was not a good thing. Lee know is such a troll. See I personally would watch a video of stray kids fishing. Even if it wasn't a lot of content. Even if it was like hours of video and they only caught like three things. I feel like it would be so entertaining. But also really calming. Also, I hate the fact that they have to worry about getting tan. Like even if they get a little honey kissed they look beautiful that way. I really do like how chaotic Han and Lee know are when they are together. How they go from topic to topic to topic. It's so fascinating to see how their mind works. And we love getting to see all of these sides of Han. What does Bottaramji mean? Yeah no. This song is definitely a very pink feeling song. What is a combination that we don't expect to get? Lee know and Han? Awwww someones doggo wanted to be apart of the video. I would also like to see Lee know do a normal Han song. It sounds like a rom-com OST or a bubbly anime OST. Changbin is such an enabler when it comes to the butt hitting. I really hope they remain friends and soulmates for the rest of their lives. Yes you guys have heard this before and it was played in one of the skz codes. You guys definitely need to listen to the studio version of it because Han sang low in this performance. But in the studio version man was hitting all of the high notes. So they cut it off right before the lazy wrap that Honda's and I'm sad about that. But this song is so amazing. And then in one of the skz codes in the behind of the scenes you can actually see Han talking about doing the little shoulder move when they perform the song. And it's so pretty. It's so nice! It's so lovely, it's so amazing. It's everything. For sure it was hilarious when we first heard the song because normal hunting songs are very sad and kind of emotional and then the one that he does with lino is just so happy and upbeat and hopeful and bright and it was just really funny when it first came out. Wait, so was this recorded before or after you started finding SKZ god edition? Either way I'm excited to see what else you guys get into. My hands-down favorite performance from this show it's got to be a top three for me so first is going to be can I call you by Hyunjin and Changbin. Then want so bad. The only reason it's coming in second is because we got the official version of it and I already loved it then. But hearing the other song it was new and amazing. And then finally volcano and hold on by Seungmin and Han.
