I'm so excited to venture down this seventeen rabbit hole with you guys! I'm a fan of seventeen but there's so much music and content I haven't gotten to and have just been putting off the deep dive for a very long time now lol, but this is the best way to do it I've listened to this song tons of times, it's on one of my playlists I rotate regularly, and yet somehow, I'd never seen the music video or checked out the English translation of the lyrics but wow this was devastating. went back and rewatched with the English subs and got a little misty :') as always, you guys pointed out tons of things that normally go miles over my head - thanks for the reaction and the ~reintroduction~ to home!

Yayy!! I'm so happy you're getting more into Seventeen. I love your Stray Kids/TXT reactions and I started getting into Ateez because of you guys but Seventeen is my ult group so I'm very excited to watch your journey into getting to know them! Fun fact: Home has 10 music show wins, which makes it still Seventeen's most awarded song! BTW, if you ever watch lyrics videos I highly recommend to check out the seventeenlyrics channel (https://www.youtube.com/@seventeenlyrics/videos) bc they will be a lot more accurate than the random lyric video channels you see. + If you're interested, Seventeen also has a lot of behind the scenes contents on recording/album making process (especially earlier in their career). There is a really short 3 minute video on the behind the scenes of Home recording that you might just enjoy watching in your own time, it's mostly just them being silly and Dokyeom being a little sad about his recording lol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFPMc3_dAzI&ab_channel=SEVENTEEN There's also a behind the scenes video for the MV if you guys wanna watch that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDhQaAWcb8s&ab_channel=SEVENTEEN And also more stuff just cuz why not, the dance practice video bc the dance is surprisingly intense: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EfdpvSLE-U&pp=ygUac2V2ZW50ZWVuIGhvbWUgcGVyZm9ybWFuY2U%3D A live performance cuz the fanchant for Home is so fun haha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MX0izazLyvU&ab_channel=MnetK-POP Home Night. Ver where they where pajamas and are just being silly again (they are silly a lot): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIsTy6QeYes&ab_channel=SEVENTEEN Sorry for the long comment I'm just really into SVT and excited about this hahaha

I am so happy you enjoyed Home!! It's one of my absolute favorite Seventeen songs. I loved hearing more about the musicality, too, since I'm not trained in music; I just feel the vibes and emotions that the music evokes. I'm so excited for you to experience more Seventeen!! Not only is their music good and interesting and uniquely *them*, they're also fun to get to know as people. I think you're going to enjoy the ride! :)

AGREED!

Zoe

one of my favorite songs by them! its just so underrated and incredible <3

100%. I think Seventeen has always (both consciously and unconsciously) centered their music on themes of youth, both in its positives (the overflowing energy, the simple happiness, the hopes for a good future) and negatives (the growing pains, having to adjust to people's and society's expectations etc...). And so their music, and even their overall energy as a group, often balances between this infectious happy vibes and comforting/nostalgic/slightly wistful vibes. Watching or listening to them makes you feel "lighter" or "refreshed".

From Killing Voice, you can check out "Don't Wanna Cry", "Mansae", "Adore U" and "Clap". Other than the setlist, I really love "Fallin' Flower" and "Thanks". But musically interesting songs are "Home;run" and "God of Music", so I thought you guys gonna enjoy them a lot. Sorry to dump these all at once, I'm just too excited lol. It's really interesting to see you describing Home musically like that. I understood the vibe, but never the details, like what they did to make the song ambience, etc. Thank you very much for the insights! Really appreciated that šŸ™šŸ»

Yeah, right? Someone said that their music is "infectiously happy and somewhat comforting", and it's SO spot on 😭

svt's really pulling you in, didn't expect a reaction so soon xD home really is such a beautiful song and musically interesting as well, the antidrop was amazing! svt's music feels weirdly nostalgic and familiar in a good way, even tho i've not listened to them much- and what really fascinates me that is the actual image they have as people too? idk i've just never seen a group that's so good at bringing familiarity like them. for the next song, tbh you can't go wrong whatever you choose but maybe "Don't Wanna Cry"! it's a bit similar themewise and one of their very popular songs too!
