[Tier 2] LeeMujin Service 'BABYMONSTER - Ahyeon'
Added 2025-01-11 23:06:36 +0000 UTCFirst time checking out LeeMujin service episode featuring BABYMONSTER member, so who else to start than the one and only Ahyeon!
Ahyeon is the one member we've been actively getting to know through various performance clips, live clips, etc. especially since her vocal skill was impossible to ignore, and so it was a pleasure to see her perform live at one of our favourite shows :D
We know Rami has also appeared on this show, so we'll get to that next time, but we're really happy that we somehow got into BM a bit more and have started following them individually. They're all very talented, and it's always a treat to hear them sing/rap/dance, you name it.
As usual, if you have questions regarding the CC notes we've added, or anything we've discussed, let us know :)
Enjoy <3

Thank you too for doing a filling in on the context of better translation...very helpful. Hopefully you'll do Rami. Also do you know on baby monsters channel and one of them on YG's channel they have three videos of behind the scenes of production at YG with a couple of Baby Monsters songs and the producers and the recording studio environment.

She and Pharita are the best with English in Babymonster. Pharita attended an international school. Personally when she speaks in English, I feel like she could have been my neighbor.

2025-01-12 17:25:33 +0000 UTCLet's get it. Oh I am excited to see Rami as well. Oh my God love maybe, yes. I really wanted you guys to listen to that song. Bro, the original of that song is fantastic. And just the undulation that she did on her voice with the love is exactly what stunned me when I first heard the song. Because it's so perfect and beautiful. Yeah the way she was breathing seems like she's nervous. Not going to lie. I didn't like the start of this song for her. The chorus she sounded really good on. On the second verse she sounded a bit better but I still don't think this fully fits her. Also what is happening at the word come? Is she losing the breath at that word? I'm so confused. When she says you only come out at night The word dropped on both the first and the second time she said it. Okay, she did it at the last chorus as well. I think she's trying to catch her breath. Which is strange because I know for a fact she can hold more air for longer. I don't know. I would not have chosen this song for her to sing. I don't think it fits well at all. Like I know I'm comparing it to the original song and I know when people cover it they tend to make it their own, but I honestly don't think that this was a good cover of it. I've never heard that song before so I thought she did good. The DJ Khaled song. I don't really listen to his music like that. I also don't know this Alex porat song so. Oh she sounds amazing on this song. Her covering that G-Dragon song is really pretty. So the tremble is on purpose? So when she said that we never know or whatever the last line was that was on purpose? Stop Lee mujin is so cute in this episode. I am surprised because I am finding that I don't really enjoy her voice like I thought I did. I mean respect to her because she is a really amazing singer. But I don't know. It's just not my thing. I definitely like hearing her better in a group setting. Maybe I need to hear her sing more soft songs doing that voice tremble thing because it doesn't really sound nice to me. Because she doesn't have a tremble when she is singing fully singing powerfully. Oh you know what maybe it is her singing in English that's throwing me off. I also like the way she sounds better when she was singing in Korean. Yeah, no, I seriously can't wait for y'all to listen to love, Maybe because it is absolutely stunning. I think it's because I know the full lyrics to the vampire song that it didn't seem fully natural to me the way she was singing. Because she did throw in some extra word. She did take out some extra words. The pronunciation for most of the words were pretty good but. But with the exception of that first song she did sound pretty good.
