It was fun, yeh. Cool stuff to rediscover in the MV. It hits different. The usual suspects. But what in the actual flying motherfather firetruck is this performance. HOW. IS. THE. OT8. VERSION. NOT. OUT. OFFICIALLY. AND. WHERE. DO. WE. SIGN. THE. PETITION. TO. MAKE. IT. HAPPEN. NOWWWW.

2025-05-08 20:06:12 +0000 UTCThe original with Chan and Hyunjin will always be the #1 between the original and OT8 version ( which is great ) and I don't agree that Hyunjin and Chan are not needed in this or the least impressive.

2025-01-29 19:22:56 +0000 UTCI love Changbin in the OT8 version. His deep voice just sounds so satisfying to my ears, he's incredible. I also really loved I.N because i think the tone of his voice perfectly matches the song. And Lee Knows high vocals were beautiful. I'm a bit embarrassed i only now realised that the black ropes around their necks were the legs of a spider that had them locked in until they freed themselves. But all i could concentrate on was them singing and dancing, so sorrynotsorry i guees. The spider thing is also the reason why i don't find it that sexual actually. The mv with the chains, them laying on the bed and dancing in a pair etc is way more sexy to me. Whereas the performance looks more like them being trapped by the spider/their obsessions.

I think Red Lights as a b side was so successful that Stay really wanted to see it live but in the Maniac tour they weren't adding unit songs so I think that is why they decided to give Stay an OT8 version knowing we would flip for it. Chan said that Hyunjin did the arrangement for the OT8 version and the performance

2025-01-08 23:51:21 +0000 UTCAgree!!!! we need an OT8 recorded version... in my mind Bang Chan is stock piling all the good suggestions he reads and sees while stalking SKZ feedback and STAY reactors and is secretlly compling the ultimate album of requests for a big Stay birthday drop... maybe on their 10th anniversary lol .... I can dream. For me the end of this song was made to be sung by Felix, it fits his tone so well ... I actually always thought that even though Hyunjin does and an incredible job in the original, I always thought that even he was channeling his inner Yongbok. This Performance is up there as one of my all time favourites, I hope one day they do it again and we can get a better recording, cause I have watched a lot of different recordings from this tour (love the fits) and this is one of the best.. which is a bit of a shame. 2025-01-08 17:26:53 +0000 UTCyess ot8 version is amazing!! i'd like to imagine that they drop all these things we keep asking for like ot8 red lights, domino mv, scissors, etc. on stay 10th birthday or something LOL idk if it's just me but for me red lights is a more emotional/deep song rather than sexy, so i actually like just listen to it rather than watching the performance. maybe that's why i much prefer the hyunchan version (tho all their voices sound amazing on this track). when it comes to emotions, the orginal just feels more intimate and personal. but for a concert performance the ot8 ver is perfect! on another note this is like the opposite situation of cover me lol. i am sooo curious about the hyunjin/chan demo version of cover me

Changbin vocal and sooooo sexy.. then I.N and Seungmin fit so perfect in that part of the song.. but what was Felix and Lee Know? Their voices with this part was insane.. Lee Know was really feeling this song right?

The leashes are solely around their necks, im unsure of what the leash is made from, but the collar is super stretchy so they could out it on and take it off quickly (so I guess it wasn't tight or restricting?). I really like the visual representation on the stage performance, they're all linked and tied to the same obsession.

2025-01-08 12:38:10 +0000 UTCI do really enjoy both the original and the ot8 version. I feel like the storytelling is stronger with Chan and Hyunjin only but ot8 makes a great stage. Hyunjin designed the staging btw. It seems he started taking a larger role on staging design ideas from Maniac tour onwards which is really cool. This is why I love getting to see MV makings and SKZ talkers because we get additional details too. But yes as people has suggested, you should check out the raw vocals clips and Chan's reaction to ot8 version on Chan's room at some point. I feel like ot8 Red Lights helped to birth danceracha's Taste 😅.

His voice is so beautiful and his stage presence never fails. He's my pick in this performance, without a doubt. As for a second, I'd be stuck trying to choose, they're all great. But maybe I agree about LeeKnow? Yeah, agreeing with d'Some here. LeeKnow for Vocalracha when? He's such a great singer and I love how we're seeing more and more of what he can do. I love his lower registers and when he growls it give's me goosebumps. His parts of the Hall of Fame live performance is a Roman empire of mine ...

I love that they decided to create a performance version OT8 version for the tour - they balanced it well & highlighted the changes really well but the intensity of Chan & Hyunjin together makes the song for me. I honestly would love for them to record a new version now with how they have continued to evolve & develop their voices - Gone Away would also be interesting…. Not sure if Surfin would highlight development as well as the other two could based on the type of song it is….. but who knows…

I don't understand. It's so good. I'm so mad that they didn't release it. And yes, Lee know absolutely slayed. Lol, why was puppym sleeping on the job 😹? I don't think I ever realized that the music video was rated 15. Oh no I always remember the end when they're looking in the mirror because one you see bang Chan's back muscles which is just very yummy. And two I realize that Hyunjin was wearing pretty much the exact same thing as benchan, but his back doesn't show as much. Wait you thought the mirror shot was the most inappropriate shot D'some? Wow. That's honestly precious D'some. Yeah for sure. I love when he doesn't use Auto-Tune on his voice. No Han-C not you bringing railway into this 🤣. I definitely understand that breakdown that Han-C just gave for the lyrics versus the video versus the music. Yes Han-C the collar is around their neck. The way changbin says yeah in the second verse takes me out every time. I don't know what it is about it. It's so simple but it is also so attractive. I get that the video wanted to show the full stage in its entirety, but honestly I feel like it makes watching the performance a little bit worse. Because why are we not close up on the boys, especially when they are singing their parts and doing their dances. I'm just so confused. I definitely like the OT8 version better. And that's nothing against the original version. I just love hearing all of the members voices on this song. I feel like changbin, IN and Han's voice fit this song so brilliantly. Lol, Lee know out here reckon D'some's life 🤣. My favorite pair from this performance is definitely Han and Changbin. It's not tight around their neck. It's actually really loose. I believe it's cushioned and then the spring that it's on is springy so it's not applying a lot of pressure if any pressure at all to their necks.
