Hello salami friends! I came across your videos when they were recommended by YouTube while I was watching skz content. I immediately spent several nights catching up on your content for the artists I follow. Once you mentioned skz survival show and kingdom reactions would be on patreon, I signed up (as others this is my first and only patreon sub). I stay and enjoy your channel because I appreciate learning more about the music we love. I have always loved learning about the productions side of things, and I also do not know Korean (coincidentally I do know a lot of German, but would not consider myself fluent lol) so it is awesome to get translations and deeper explanations of it all! Also I would consider metal/rock my favorite and main genres, so I absolutely love when kpop groups experiment with those sounds as well! Hope you all are having a lovely start to your 2025!

(iykyk) Long Answer: I binged all of the Skz reactions you guys had available when Skz found me in June 2023. TTATH reaction was the one that solidified a subscribe to the YT channel and then not long after, to Patreon. (I just tried to explain why that specific reaction was the one that convinced me, but I honestly can't put it into words....lol) I watch you guys because you're, as other comments said, genuine in your reactions, your friendship, and your interactions with us. I found you guys in August or September of 2023 and it was just after I had started stanning Skz (Stay since June 2023) so I found your thoughts on their production and music highly educational. They help me fully appreciate the music I enjoy and also further understand why I enjoy the music. Skz are exactly my niche when it comes to music and hearing you both break down the lyrics, structures, and production behind their music just makes the songs that much more enjoyable and meaningful. I also started learning Korean in Oct 2023 and so your breakdown of the lyrics and phrases is cool to learn and take with me on this language learning journey. :) Finally, I watch you guys because you both genuinely interact with us Sausages via comments or DMs and, as I followed others who don't, it truly means a lot to me that you both take time out of your schedules to do that. :) I'm a Sausage for life - or as long as you guys are making videos anyway lol. :) Happy New Year and here's to the Sausage Fest truly happening at some point!! :D

I know I've said this in comments before, but watching your videos and streams feels like hanging out with friends. I only have one irl friend who also enjoys kpop, so it's really lovely to be a part of this community. And it's always fun to see your genuine reactions to SKZ and Ateez and all! I appreciate your perspective as musicians and as Korean people, but at this point I'm really here for the friendly vibes most of all. ;) Also, Han-C as a panda is too perfect. <3 And omg, D'Some, Videotape by radiohead is such a moving song and has been one of my favorites of all time, too!! I remember when it came out I was going through a tough time in my life, and I honestly think it helped me get through it (weird, I know, given the subject matter!). That song, along with Let Down and How to Disappear Completely are my favorite radiohead songs. Happy new year! Number 1 is of course personality, if I didn't find your content to be enjoyable, I wouldn't have been watching for as long as I have. But more specifically, I like your music reaction content because of the background you have in music. While I enjoy music, I don't have any in-depth knowledge about it's creation, I don't play any instruments, at best I can read sheet music because I used to sing in choir at school and church, so when it comes to looking deeper into music (especially when there's a language barrier) I struggle to verbalize my thoughts about the music beyond 'vibes'. You are able to more clearly understand things, both because you speak Korean, and because you have a much greater understanding of music than I do. So I enjoy watching your videos reacting to music because you offer a perspective that I simply wouldn't ever really have access to. It's kind of like how you talk about the lyric videos sometimes being wrong because they're translating word for word, but sometimes don't have the culture context/knowledge to get the references/intentional wordplay that's happening. I can read translated lyrics and understand the surface level, but you give me an opportunity to appreciate the music with deeper understanding. As for non-music content, the SKZ-Codes, Wanteez, etc.- that's fun to watch because I enjoy those groups and because you're so clearly having fun too. While I could bully my sister or best friend into watching some of that content with me, it's more fun to watch with someone who wants to be watching it too. So it's just a nice fun thing, to kind of reexperience these moments with someone equally as interested in watching these idols have a good time.

You often help me hear things I would miss otherwise. I think it’s clear when a song is going on to your playlists cause of how hyped you guys get 😊. I can tell you guys continue with what you enjoy and that connects with me much more. It’s always apparent when someone was maybe into SKZ for example but then goes off them but keeps watching for views. You can feel disingenuous reacts a mile away. Your chemistry is a key reason to watch. You can feel your friendship through the screen and you do a great job of bringing us sausages into the fold as much as can be done with strangers on the internet. The level of insight and extra knowledge you guys give us because of your Korean heritage is invaluable. I love getting to learn more accurately through you guys and even sometimes seeing how you react to certain interviews etc. for better cultural nuances. I started with you guys for your musical and Korean knowledge but stayed long term for your personalities 🫶🏻 So excited you guys are getting to see our boys this year! (Also d'some and I seem to have very similar musical tastes outside of kpop.) Your humor makes sense to me, your cultural explanations are very appreciated, and you point out little things in songs I missed. It's nice to have someone to feel like I'm sharing my favorite groups with, because my only irl kpop friend likes very different artists from me (we made a pact at the beginning of 2024 to get into each other's ult groups - I managed to fall in love with Joohoney and no one else in MX, and he now loves San's complete disregard for shirts and that's as far as we got). So like, at least I have the sausages! And salami :)

Most reaction videos don’t focus on the musical/production aspect and it was so refreshing and validating to hear you point out just how genius they are. I didn’t expect you guys to go and start from the very beginning of SKZ and just ride this long journey out but I’m so happy you did because it’s brought a lot of laughs and enlightenment to my life. Personally, I was just going through reactors on YouTube when I first got into Skz and you guys just stood out. It's you in depth analysis of the music, sources, and your insight into the music industry. It made me appreciate Skz even more than I initially did. Yes, obviously I liked the music, but hearing from people who have and do work with music, gave me an appreciation that I didn't previously have. It made me see that they are so much more and have so much more talent than many other artists that I've listened to since I was a kid. Aside from the music knowledge, it was you guys and the fun you have when reacting to their music, especially when something is particularly good, and their variety show content. The emotions through the Survival show, the joy watching all the groups in Kingdom and you two just genuinely having a fun time watching them, like we all have had. The banter between you both as well, is so good! I am often laughing so much while watching things with you guys. I've actually watched some things twice. It's kinda my go to thing when I'm feeling a bit shit. So thank you for sharing a little bit of yourselves with us and I can't wait for what this year brings us! As someone who doesn't have much muscial knowledge or know any korean, it really makes me appreciate music more, both for kpop and for non-kpop. Loved learning a bit more about y'all and hearing your takes on the questions! A bit of a follow up, but I'm curious who your performance biases are for ateez and skz? I definitely recommend seeing ateez live in the future. I saw them in Toronto this summer and they were absolutely amazing! A G-Dragon, Hongjoong, Bang Chan collab would be absolutely crazy in the best way possible. I do love me some salami.

Longer answer: Initially because every time I'd watch a new video, I felt like I was learning something either about the lyrics (pretty sure I found you when looking for an explanation of TTATH) or the structure of the song you were reacting to and your energy is contagious. That is all certainly still true, and I appreciate that even when there's something that isn't quite your thing, you can point out what it's doing musically and why it works (or doesn't), but what keeps me here is probably your attitudes toward all of it. It is easy to see the effort you put into making this a good experience and respecting the intention behind the released track, even if it's not to your taste. While I'm not a fan of salami, I do understand not listening to music when sad. I tend to always have SOMETHING on, but I definitely go with things that are more along the lines of lofi or down tempo - no lyrics, nothing that it popping up on a playlist will immediately take me back to that time and mental state, if that makes sense? Happy it's a little easier to throw on a song or playilst, but true joy... kind of the same as when I'm sad. I don't want to tie it too strongly to a specific song, so I lean toward things that don't have lyrics. *that's not the word I want, but I'm not coming up with the right one. mea culpa.

If it's LABELED as AI, then I'm OK with it. But if it's passed off as being "real" and being sung by actual people, when in fact it's not, I am seriously against that. Also......re: AI......I read an article recently that said someone was trying to pass off a chance to win a "fan call" with ATEEZ, and it was only when fans checked the details of the offer that they discovered there would not be any actual ATEEZ members involved. Rather, their images during the fan call would be AI-generated. Considering how much fans pay for those fan calls, the whole thing was very annoying. And I had to wonder if it was even approved by the company or by ATEEZ themselves. I honestly don't want to see AI being used for that, whether it's by one of the real companies or a third party. I've learned so much about how to listen to everything in a piece and it has allowed me to appreciate the work and the artists that much more. You've also added cultural and language context which I would not have understood by just reading translations. Also, it is very sweet to watch your friendship as you explore these artists' works and personalities.
