SKZ Scare tactics are back and it's bigger, scarier, AND funnier than before!!! It's a format that never fails and with SKZ, it's capable of taking over the world (though, frankly, SKZ already took over the world).
Just one clarification at ~30:00, I'm referring to the one moment Lee Know was actually scared, when he was in an actual room checking the bathroom and seeing an actor standing in a shower booth! Cuz that was really well done with the actor not engaging, and imagine all encounters were like that and when they realize what just happened, the actors are already out of the picture. So yeh, definitely balancing things out, but one day, it'd be also cool to see a legit scary experience with no humor (given the members are okay with it XD).
On that note, the way the washroom ghost talks is SO FUNNY but it's almost impossible to translate it right. He has a lot of 'well, since you can see me...' 'oh hey there :D' and '(anime villain mode) ehem, ha! it's been some time since a human could see my presence' lines that his appearance alone brings the show to S tier XDXD
Anyways, this was VERY fun, and so we hope you have fun with us! :D
Also, let's vote for us doing something like this in the future. XD Who wants to see us go through a crazy haunted house!

Finally getting around to watching this! Highlights for me: Han literally flopping over like an anime character had me cackling out loud. 🤣 Seungmin's ghost asking for a JYP impression is HILARIOUS and just goes to show how well the staff know the Kids! Love that they incorporate their inside jokes and JYP isn't so prideful that he can't take a little teasing. Lee know just standing there as the ghost tries to scare him and saying "you told me we had 10 secs" is such a Lee Know thing to do. Felix offering his own jacket cuz the ghost was "cold" was so cute. And you'll see more in the next ep but Hyunjin's interaction with his ghost is hilarious as well. My friends and I are obsessed with escape rooms so I'm always encouraging ppl to go experience one themselves so would love to see you guys do one! Doing a scary one would just be a bonus 😝. I used to HATE going to do scary things but my sister loved it so she would always drag me along. So now I'm better at them as long as I have someone to hang on to hahaha.

Oh Chan don’t like at all scary things so I was so sure he is gonna be like that, is so cute, so polite and scare at he same time JAJAJAJ One of my favorite things about seeing this with you guys is the comment part in the end so fun

2025-01-12 22:22:23 +0000 UTCFinally found the time to watch this! It's hilarious to me how differently the members react in these situations. Chan and Felix get genuinely scared super easily; Chan can nearly manage if he has Felix or someone else to look after, and he'll always try to put a polite or jokey spin on it while pushing through, but even so, the fear is completely genuine in a way he can't disguise. Felix tries his best but inevitably gets frightened and will curl up if pushed too far - like, he knows objectively that it's all make-believe, but he still can't stop himself from reacting, so he just ends up huddled and shaking. Then you've got Changbin, who also gets scared for real, but in a way that becomes comedically intensified because he's got such a high startle reflex and a very loud voice - and unlike Chan and Felix, he'll default to the humour of trying to make himself seem tough while fully aware that he's being anything but. Han, by contrast, has all the innate survival instincts of a baby deer; he just sort of spasms in place and drops to the floor and whines a lot until someone braver takes pity on him, but he's more startled overall than truly frightened. Hyunjin can have some hysterical reactions, but that's less due to actual terror and more because he flings himself wholeheartedly into the experience and enjoys the thrill. I.N gets a bit nervy, but he has a way better lock on it than most of the others, so even though he doesn't enjoy the scare experience, he's also not taking psychic damage. Seungmin, as you guys noticed, is mainly concerned with jumpscares; he's not frightened of the scenario so much as stressed by knowing that someone is probably going to leap out at him, but he still finds it funny and bearable. And then, finally, last on the scareometer is Lee Know, who finds the whole thing deeply amusing and will at best get slightly startled by a jumpscare, but no differently to how he would in any other context - say, if a member leapt out at him suddenly. I used to be much more easily spooked when I was younger, but when I went to do the big Halloween haunted house experience at Universal Studios with a friend a few years ago, I was just laughing the whole way through. Similarly to how I feel watching horror movies these days, knowing it's fake means that, outside of jumpscares, it takes a *lot* for my actual terror to trigger, and even when it does, I can pretty quickly anchor myself. I'm much more likely to get scared by my own imagination! XD

2024-12-27 02:14:49 +0000 UTCHan is hilarious to me, he watches horror films and follows lots of horror stories but he also just dissolves like a fainting deer when scared. Lee Know I feel like fakes humour and being fine but actually he hates jumpscares so he stuck to Han a bit to cover for it. Seungmin just lowkey fell for his ghost which was adorable, and I.N was like -I have a job to do- focused. Felix I feel like walked in there and decided if he joined team ghost it would be less scary. Personally, I've never gotten the point of horror experiences, or the fun of being scared but I suppose I can see doing it with your friends as a game could be more fun adrenaline than genuinely scared. Poor Chan though, he does get scared easily. I feel like he's so used to being in control of situations he struggles when he has no control or power in a situation and is completely vulnerable. Though he is actually quite a soft soul and probably has too real of an imagination to detach.

Cos Lee Know was the one who was leading the way with no hesitation the entire time (which probably contributed to why the other 3 members were also pretty calm and confident when they were together) so I didn’t think he was scared to go alone xD

I couldn't even imagine leaving my house to go somewhere outside of it to tinkle. Really interesting that this all comes from (as far as we know) a Japanese story that's evolved. I find it most ironic that South American/Canadian myths have never travelled so far as me. I constantly am having to remind myself that S. Korea is MUCH smaller than it seems, and as an American, we're freakin' large when it comes to culture and travel (not to say that there isn't larger, but it's amazing how much 'lore' there is 3 states away, compared to my own). Thank you for the insight! I can't wait for part 2!

Now, I do think the original 'spirit' has something to do with those colors and that's why it began as red/blue toilet paper, and also because washrooms back in the day were separate from the house and so you had to go outside, which is why it became a scary place, etc."

2024-12-24 23:36:58 +0000 UTCthis was so funny!! seungmin and the ghost, han folding like a piece of paper everytime he got scared and just everything - so hilarious. the stressor things comparison is so real with the horror and humor combination! love how all of them reacted so differently than in the last horror skz code lolll i've never done a proper haunted house before, so i'm not sure how i'd do, but i'm pretty bad with suspension of disbelief or getting immersed, which even makes watching movies often not enjoyable, so i don't think i'd get scared apart from the jump scares maybe. if i go with friends esp friends who get scared easily, i'll just be laughing the whole time LOL h/s haunted house special yess!!! the whole ending conversation was hilarious xD also i've never had anyone wishing me a sexy christmas day before but i'll take it🤣 have a wonderful time this holiday season as well!

The first time I watched this. That Lee Know grab Hans ass saying this is my present. No, because the ghosts are hilarious. She said don't hit nobody to Lee know which is a very valid thing to say. Red and blue is a classic, scary story. Gimmick? How so? Or like what do you mean? No, because Seungmin was hilarious during this episode. No because the way Han folds every time a ghost comes near him is fucking hilarious. Like my man really just crumbles and it just makes me feel bad but also laugh every time. The ghosts are so funny. No, the bathroom ghost and the ghost that needed to be put to bed were the funniest to me. No because imagine if somebody was actually in those doors that Lee know kicked. They would have got a door to the face and that's hilarious. The fact that they have to hold the hand with the ghost while they sing. It's so funny. The way han's voice gets so light and airy and soft when he gets scared is just oh my gosh. Seriously, the bathroom ghost is one of the funniest ones for sure. Yes, they're so polite even when scared and that's hilarious to me. I love it. Han's voice is so funny! Her voice was the scariest thing about her. Not Lee Know is trying to give the damn ghost to epilepsy 🤦🏾♀️🤣. So a room that is a complete 180 from what they just were in. No because the way he engine went into this gun's blazing was so wild. Like a complete change from the first time we saw him in the scary house. The way I immediately felt bad for bang Chan. Because baby really seems so scared. Changbin was actually so scared. Baby made me laugh. The way the bathroom ghost was posing as he was talking to hyunjin, so funny. Yeah no. Felix was so surprisingly sweet in this. Although I don't know why it was surprising. I mean, do y'all not remember the last scary SKZ code? Bang chan was genuinely scared. Yea know these episodes were absolutely amazing. And the second one is even funnier than this one. I promise you. I genuinely can't wait to rewatch that one with you guys as well. Oh they definitely would have made it even scarier if they wanted to. But they know how easily scared their boys are so they didn't want them to die. See in the first group I would be Han. But even then he was kind of Brave. In the second group. I would definitely be bang Chan or Changbin. I love how you just explained it that Lee know was Lee know because yes, that is so true. Yes, the washroom guy is the best. The way Han-C quickly said no he doesn't want to do. It is so funny. Lol Han-C i feel you! Lol, not the child abuse 😂. Come on d'some with that you're my child but not a child. He once went into a haunted house with Felix and Felix had to sing to him to calm him down. And there was a cut, so I suspect they actually ended the thing early too.
