Seeing this in concert was amazing. The song is so beautiful, and his voice keeps getting better. Honestly, the first few times I saw this MV, I cried. It's heart-wrenching. Felix did so well.

He's only done a handful of his own songs so I feel like he's still trying to find his 'voice' and style so to speak. He mentioned in the intro video that he has a hard time expressing himself, which is why he took inspiration from Beauty and the Beast. With time I just know he'll find the sound he's looking for ^-^ I cannot believe how much he did for this MV though. Under water shooting has to be so difficult and stressful, everyone involved really made something incredibly beautiful, almost cerebral 💕 If the entire video was only ambient music, it would tell a story on its own no lyrics needed, and that's amazing

Not just that verse—there’s something about his tone throughout that gives off a similar vibe, even though Felix’s voice is much deeper than Logic’s. When I heard it live, literally the second it started, I was like, "Wait… is that Logic?", the tone and delivery just hit me like that. But I love how he’s literally telling a story with the song—every bit of it is just 🔥, and he still makes it completely his own.

This song is so beautiful, and I remember being so speechless the first time I heard it in concert and he just kept changing and changing his tones. The Beauty and the Beast storyline is so beautiful, but the parallels to himself is what gives me chills. People focus on his looks and his voice and on his donations and volunteering, and they call him an angel. And throughout the years, whenever people do call him that, you can see on his face how he seems to be uncomfortable and frustrated by it. He keeps telling us directly, too, to remember that he's only human, that he has a temper he can't show, that he struggles to express himself. He is only human, and we should not put him on a pedestall. And then how he chooses to visualise that in this MV ... He's drowning, dressed in pure white and his angel wings, or walking with chained feet as a scarred "monster". But then he climbs out of the water, finds the rose and falls to the ground. With the love that the rose represents (of Stay? Skz? A certain someone?), he sheds his burdensome wings and is finally able to rest. Good enough, just as he is, with both the light and the dark parts of himself. It's so beautiful, but because the Beauty and the Beast inspiration is so on the nose, so many Stays are neglecting to look any further. And he really put so many layers in this song, he's conveying so much, using that tale as a metaphor. I'm in awe.

So I can confirm my answer to what you asked us about our favorite Solo song/stage. Felix went up to another level about songwriting and how he performed and presented his song. He went so far from the “Deep End” song. Proud of him.

2024-12-22 06:25:41 +0000 UTCawwwww I love this track! No matter how much I love all 8 SKZ members Felix always has a special biased place in my heart ... and this music video was so GORGEOUS ... I really want to see a full behind the scenes (I want that for all of them though lol). His voice in the singing part of the verse reminds me a little of when he sang on the track 'Glow' in the survival show, and shocked everyone that he could sing (priceless). Obviously he has improved since then but the tone is similar (to me anyway). I love how he is working on his vocals all the time and I mean the guy has like 1000 different voices. It is so nice that in the last year SKZ have been showing that side of him more ... thinking of how Hyunjin gave him more melodic and vocal parts in 'Cover Me' cause he loves his voice, and his parts in 'Stray Kids'. He will always be an angel, but I can totally see the human inside too xxx

And I love the details that they had with the scars on his face and his body. I would like to know your interpretation of the end of that music video. And also the absolute silence at the end of that was so valid. The music video is absolutely beautiful. I definitely love the variety that we're getting with all of these skz players.
