Like Surfin' can be played all year even though it has a summer theme, Winter Falls is just a heartbreak song with a winter theme. I didn't even add it to my Christmas playlist with all my other favorite Christmas hits over the last 80 years.

I never catch it until someone mentions it and then it makes me go rewatch the MV--genius replayability marketing lol. My Christmas tradition is having a sleepover with my siblings on Christmas Eve. We would watch Christmas movies and set up mattresses and sleeping bags all over the living room. Then wake up to a glorious Christmas breakfast and then several hours of opening presents. My sister goes BIG on Christmas. Lately, with my siblings having multiple kids (and me having multiple dogs lol) we haven't done the sleepover in a few years but we still hang out Christmas Eve and come back Christmas morning. When ChangBin and Han are looking through boxes, the box next to the one in the center is labeled Kevin, a nod to the home alone movies. Also the moves that Han and Felix do are from Pulp Fiction, which makes some peoples Christmas list as the parallels between the three wise men, etc. not what I would pick but its definitely a thing. 2024-12-12 10:50:43 +0000 UTCI love this so much, it gives me SKZ Company vibes from when they did that Christmas special / the Christmas MV for 'Placebo' ... and also SKZ Flix vibes with Bang Chan and Hyunjin filming and Felix making a wish/prayer ... I am sure there is so much we could read into it.. but whatever the interpretation it is adorable!!! LOVE IT! This Christmas will be the first back in Aus for 5 years ... sun, sand, sunscreen, champaigne and seafood :D

I'm so happy I found SKZ about 2 years ago, and shortly afterwards your YT reactions. I really enjoy the community, since nobody in my close by surroundings listen to SKZ or K-pop. I travelled to Italy, Milan and IDays concert by myself this summer, and in July I'm going to DominAte the Frankfurt, Germany concert alone. But Stay is such open, inviting and sharing fandom, so I always make so many new friends. 😄🥰 In Sweden we celebrate Christmas eve, with my very small family. All centered around food and finished off with a Christmas gift game (with timer and dice). Hilariously dice-fighting over the unwrapped gifts in the end, almost like a SKZ code episode. 🤣

This is actually my first comment since subscribing so I just want to start by expressing my appreciation to you both for your unfiltered and honest reaction to skz. Listening to you guys really feels like I am watching skz videos for the first time again which is amazing cuz it's exciting and thrilling!!! Tbh I really did not understand a thing about the MV but it just made me feel cozy and warm and lovely–exactly how christmas season should make us feel and how actually skz make me feel. Anws, kudos to you guys!

We eat and drink together. Once the kiddos go to sleep we all play games and just spend time with each other. Honestly Christmas is my favorite holiday because of the way my family celebrates it. This song will definitely be added to the playlist on Christmas Day!

2024-12-12 04:01:01 +0000 UTCThis is lovely. And as far as skz christmas songs goes, it's their 4th. The first 3 (Winter Falls, 24 to 25 and Christmas EveL) were released together in 2021. Back then, each song was meant for a specific season-mood; Christmas is stressful and overrated, Christmas is hard and sad, and Christmas is all warm and fuzzy. Each has both a MV and an end of year-performance, all worth checking out! As a Scandinavian, our traditions are a mix of the religious Christmas, the commercialised one and the old Norse celebration of the winter solstice "Jul (yule)" (mostly the latter two). The 24th is the big day here, and the 23rd is all about the anticipation - the night before the night. The week between the Christmas Eve and New Years Eve is supposed to be more chill, lots of food and different constellations of people every day. A bit too stressful, tbh. Also, we're big on advent here, waiting for Christmas all through december with calendars and baking and games in the snow. And we have our own version of santa (i guess?), Fjøsnissen. All barns and stables has one. A grumpy and ancient little guy who will wreak havoc if he isn't fed rice porridge every day. If he's kept happy, tho, he tends to your farm 🤷🏼♀️ The holiday spirit is also greatly helped by the polar night and the northern lights, so there's that. This one's going to be an odd one. The first without my mom. In reference to I.N alone with the snow globe; so lore-wise (Chan spoke about this in a Chan's room around Levanter era, and as far as I know, that's the only place it was confirmed this specifically, so it's not going to crop up in something you're yet to see. There's an official recap from Go Live era, but this isn't mentioned there. Still, if you wan't to guess at that part yourself - maybe don't read on😅) I.N knows what's going on with the megaverse and the parallel universes. He's the one who Knows. To what extent is still not clear, but, according to Chan, he is aware of there being several universes and timelines, and he does know when someone is in the wrong place and doesn't belong where they're at.

It was a real gift for STAYs. Also, I don't celebrate Christmas as I'm Jewish and celebrate Hanukkah, but I'm really loving all of SKZ's christmas songs!

It wasn't a very Christmas scene in some of the parts, but overall I feel like that is like the magic of Christmas. Anytime they release Christmas music, there's always that one song that is going to be like a typical Christmas song. Like with their Korean drop. Obviously Christmas evel was like stray kids Christmas but then you had 24 to 25 which is very much a standard Christmas song. So Christmas love is I guess like the Japanese standard Christmas song and it's so beautiful. I have no idea what this story was supposed to be but I feel like it was them stuck in like they're boring everyday routine. Felix and Lee know in their little office job. bang Chan and hyunjin as TV producers/anchor people. Changbin and Han as office workers again. But this time in the office closet and I don't know what's going on with Seungmin and IN. Felix is kind of bringing that energy. I guess IN could be bringing the Christmas energy too, but they start to transform into the Christmas spirit and then they all gather together and they enjoy the times together because that is what Christmas really means for them to be around the people they love. Man, if we're following lore Felix, I.N and Lee know have something going on. I really don't celebrate holidays so I don't do anything. Sometimes I'll go to my family to be with them while they celebrate it but it tends to give me a bunch of anxiety and I don't understand why. So honestly I just stay home. And of course I watch movies and listen to music but I don't do anything big. I feel bad saying that but the last 5 years I've had a really bad anxiety attack on almost every major holiday so I don't bother with it anymore.
