I really love how everyone got to shine in this album and also enjoyed the different tones the members went for especially yunho!! I suggest you watch the MMA Performance they just did on saturday the stage was incredible with amazing Intros and dance breaks!! They also uploaded the performance practice today so it could be a fitting end to GH2 :D

2024-12-02 23:50:30 +0000 UTCI love Enough so much! This song is a much-needed uplifting balm to my soul. It doesn't have the typical Ateez sound, but yet it's SO Ateez. They're singing to themselves, like you said. And it shows what incredible range they all have!!! Every one of them changed their tone for this song and showed us another side of their musicality--they're true artists. Still my favorite song on the album, and it's a perfect ending. I still want a fully San-sung version of Enough. Not that I don't love the way the other members sang, because I adore everyone's vocals, but that glorious growly scratch San put on it for Lee Mujin is EVERYTHING.

Ice on My Teeth still hasn't grown on me (I do bop to it while listening, but it hasn't become an ear worm for me) but I can tell it's a better title track in terms of encapsulating the theme of most of the tracks. If 'Enough' was the title track, people would believe the album is of similar vibes. It's a nice song to end the album. Man on Fire is my second favourite. Mostly because of Mingi's parts

Deep Dive and Enough are my favourite songs because emotionallly I relate to them the most but that being said the whole album is my favourite and every song is beautiful and impactful in their own way so it slightly outshines Part 1 but I also feel like Par 1 was perfect for summer and this is perfect for winter

2024-12-02 11:03:00 +0000 UTCFavorite song? Man on Fire. Between Golden Hour Pt. 1 and Pt. 2? Part 2 by a loooong shot, and I actually really liked the songs on Part 1. It’s just like…when you put them side by side, it feels like the stakes are so much higher on GHP2, even on lowkey songs like Deep Dive and “cool” songs like Ice on My Teeth, which was like if they worked and got so much money and so much purse that they got their own menacing rich-person-haunted-mansion anthem. Raised stakes means drama, which means I’m gonna be there.

2024-12-02 06:24:16 +0000 UTCI love that ATEEZ, at least for me, always seems to have an encouraging/uplifting song show up exactly when I need it to, and “Enough” is just the latest in line. As far as the album as a whole, it does feel like they are all about love. “Deep Dive” feels like relying on external validation for love and what that does to you as a person, “Scene 1: Value” as a pairing with “Ice on my Teeth” feels like confusing admiration and envy for love. ‘Man on Fire” feels like raw, primal desire…a love that becomes too all consuming that you lose yourself. “Selfish Waltz” feels like the pain of realizing that love is work and that real love is not a battle to be won. And “Enough” feels like self-love, like realizing that the best love you will ever feel…is when you are finally able to love yourself…and how that makes you infinitely better at giving love to others. Also a lot of friendship love vibes. Allowing yourself to be loved.

2024-12-02 05:35:18 +0000 UTCif I am going to compare Golden hour part 1 and part 2 I would say part 1 feels like the world outside and part 2 is inside, not sure how to explaim that 1 is E in MBTI and 2 is I, that is how I feel it. So I honestly can't compare cause those are oposites sides. I feel Ateez to me as music has colors, visuals is a very different way to enjoy the musical experience. They are storytellers and we are just carried away with it. I love this ep very much, is very human, what makes me wonder how part 3 will be since this was like 180° different from the first one.

Thank you SO much for clarifying the lyrics, it's so hard for a lot of us to clarify for ourselves because machine translation suffers so hard with ambiguous pronouns and idioms. Ya'll are PRICELESS. GHP2 takes the crown as P1 has two skips for me. Can't pick a pt 2 fav track. They're all SOTY tbh. I would much rather see you react to the recording of IOMT behind than the remixes. They keep picking the weirdest people to collab with. They are big enough to contact people like Peggy Gou, ISOxo — hell why not even Fred Again or Four Tet? Those two are ALWAYS working with unexpected artists that run between unknown internet indie artists and people like their bestie Skrillex. Sorry, I have a lot of remix / EDM feelings.

At first I could take or leave this one - like one of you said it doesn't sound like Ateez - but I stopped to listen to the lyrics, and their individual voices, and I'm falling more in love, probably because of the way they seem to love Enough. My favorite is Man On Fire, but I kind of love the way I can holler along with most of this one in the car.

Right now I think man on fire and selfish waltz are my favorites, but deep dive and enough get up there depending on the day. Golden hour pt 1 and 2 were my first comebacks with Ateez, and I definitely prefer pt 2. Pt 1 was great, but in terms of music style pt 2 is more for me. If y’all want more ice on my teeth, ateez released a behind the scenes of the recording and choreo that’s amazing! They have ones for golden hour pt 1 as well, though you might have seen those already. Someone already mentioned it too, but their mma performance was incredible! They did work and ice on my teeth, with some intros/dance breaks thrown in. You should definitely check it out, even if just off camera (though I’d love a breakdown)!
