So it turns out the 'choice' was about 까나리액젓, a notoriously strong fish sauce in Korea. No. Never. Looked diluted, but still. No.
Also, the replacement we talk about at the end is 고삼 (Sophora flavescens), and they make popsicles or teas out of it and they eat/drink that instead nowadays cuz it's super bitter but healthy for you. Not 까나리액젓. That's just bad for you if you drink it like that XD. I think I said 감초 (Gam-Cho) or something in the vid by mistake, which is just licorice XDXD, so yeah, it's 고삼 (Go-Sam).
