What a twist this one was! Holy crap.
We learned SO much about the members โ I know we say that every reaction but seriously, this one was different. Especially with Seungmin and Hyunjin, it was an epiphany let me tell you.
We go into more detail in the video, and on the way, talk about a lot of random things, so I'll cut it short here. Enjoy, and please let us know what you all thought about this one! :D

Most I can do is find new SKZ reaction channels :D If someone's interested - I just stumbled on new "Athlete react to..." videos and got an unexpected anatomy lesson from a Tik Tok thirst trap videos compilation. I just sat there in shock and thought "Did I just... learn something?" I watched his guide reaction first and I really like his vibe and attitude, there's potential.

He even mentioned it in the Intro album vid and I really see their love for each other this way.

Kingdom becomes even more amazing when you remember how mnet is notorious for their evil editing, but there was literally nothing that could be made to look bad between the teams. I knew skz had my heart completely while watching Kingdom. The way they come together in disappointmens, how they care for eachother instead of placing blame when someone messes up ... I was awestruck. I've seen few teams that manages that the way they do, and not just in kpop, but in general.

I watched some of his episodes out of curiosity, but since I don't know him and boys were all so young then - their conversations were on much more superficial level - I didn't feel that it gave me much.

Sometimes they mention it (Chan did it here with I.N.) and I find it so funny - some of these pairs find it hard to have deep conversations with each other off camera so they keep what they want to say for the show. 2 in 1 - they get to say what they wanted and get good content. It's life of an entertainer I guess.

They really like each other as people and as artists and what's even more important - they respect each other. I wrote an essay here about growth and success and deleted it :D I just say that every Tuesday I re-watch the Handsome One's reaction and then go and binge on more 2 Kids Room episodes, because I need moooore.

XD That's given you don't put it in the fridge of course - a lot of Korean families just have it out on the stove and boil it once a day to keep it going for a few days before putting it in the fridge or just finishing it. For rock paper scissors, they would've secretly decided on a pattern and try to get Changbin to lose - that kinda back deal is quite common among Korean friends when one person is missing, and they would usually change the rule from 'winner/loser' to 'odd one out' so that the one person out of the loop would be the odd one out haha. I love your reaction to these and keep dreading the video ending lol I realised after last weeks epiosode who we'd be getting this time and I've been mentally preparing for it since. Both SeungJin and BinChan are in my top3 episodes, I think ... I.N and Chan is such a fun dynamic. The insight into how Chan worked to bring I.N into Stray Kids, when he was really to debut in a younger group is really interesting. "What do you even know?" ... Just ...*sigh* Changbin and Chan really just match eachother's freak, but you can sense how how much they rely on eacother under all the goofy. I agree with Han-C. To me, watching Stray Kids heals something in me that I didn't even know were broken. It's not about them being comfortable or funny or relatable. Seeing them knocks the air right out of me. They're pulling tears from I don't even know where. And in the end, my head is clear and my heart is light. I keep thinking how different my life would have been if I had a friend group like this when I was younger - and how different things might have been for everyone in my circle if there were any male role models like them. They're just the image of gentle masculinity. It struck me from the start how they are everyone's hype men when other artists are performing, how they made sure solo artists didn't feel alone at events during covid, how the girl groups seems to be genuinely comfortable around them. And none of it seems performative, because you'll usually spot them in the background of other artists bts stuff. Can't wait for the rest! And when it does come to an end, there's so much more '2 Kids .....' content that you haven't checked out yet, so you'll be going well into 2025 with it for sure.

2024-11-04 23:13:52 +0000 UTCThe thing that really gets me about 2 Kids Room - and SKZ in general, though it's particularly on display here - is how extraordinarily intimate their relationships all are at a base level. Like, it's *so* normal for them that, after a while, it can frogboil you as a viewer into thinking that level of closeness is normal for everyone - right up until you contemplate saying something like "I think you have the power to heal people's wounds" to a friend and immediately shrivel up into a raisin of cringe. But even by the standards of k-pop, I really think SKZ are absurdly close, and it says something about them as people, I think, that not only can they exhibit that closeness so naturally, but that they can talk about it so openly.

The way he said "No can take away you from me, you're mine", "You're the funniest person in this world", "I'm Seungfan", "I love hearing your voice most in this world" etc like how can you not love them. How much Hyunjin loves Seungmin needs to be studied. I watched 2kr from the start I can tell how much Seungmin comforted when Hyunjin had a hard time. You will get it if you watch it I don't wanna spoil๐ญ. They have the best chemistry I would say. If you watch skz talker you can clearly see how much hyunjin rely on Seungmin.

The three of them together are absolute CHAOS, but they are seriously so connected to each other and so close, I think we could learn a lot about them, too. You honestly are somewhat reborn as a Stay on a much deeper level, and you learn to love and appreciate these "Kids" (iow young men) so much more. One of my very favorite episodes is the Hyunjin/Seungmin.

I've also grown up in a culture where showing your feelings is basically unpolite and affection or appreciation is rarely shown via words. It's weird to say, but watching Stray Kids content has taught me so much. I only wish I had relationships like they do when I was their age.

They've had a boys project group in the basement for several years now that 3RACHA worked with on the JYP vs PNation show LOUD. 3RACHA even re-arranged Back Door, had the trainees write new lyrics, and performed with them on the show. There have been periodic rumours that they are prepping for debut, but then it doesn't go anywhere. Some of the original lineup have since left JYPE. At this point, their leader, Lee Gyehun (2004), is the new Bang Chan of JYPE trainees. 3RACHA pointed out that they had trained together (he joined in early 2016 during open auditions when he was 12 or 13). Changbin is technically his junior since he joined JYPE after Gyehun. Just as han said i really feel like chan and i.n have that older and younger friends that grew up together type of vibe. and now they live together! hyunjin and seungmin's episode was very heartwarming and emotional, "what do you even know" is very well know in stayville. for me changbin and chan was one of the episodes where i really had an ephipany because i didn't know just how sweet and close they were!๐ฅน When i first watched 2kids room i thought "this is the closest they can get", as you said their relationships and dynamics seem so perfect. but watching this in 2024 i'm realizing just how much closer they've gotten since 2022 - it's insane! also when han-c said "can we slow it down" my mind immediatly went "slow it down make it bouncy"๐

To be honest because this is the first and probably only 2kr season where they went through every possible pairing in skz in one season, there are a lot of quotes that popularized and changed the way certain pairings are seen within the fandom

NEXZ is the only direct boy group hoobae company and division wise at JYPE. i believe a couple members XDH trained as idols before transitioning to band trainees(?). I think SKZ were already rookies by the time the NEXZ members joined the company.

I really like seeing bang Chan and I.N together. Because obviously the oldest and youngest but like I love to see how they work together. How they push and pull each other. And it's hard to see the heartwarming care that he gives. Like. It's very obvious that he loves the boys. He definitely puts up with all of their shenanigans. But his care isn't as obvious. I just had an incident where I was up for almost 48 hours and I couldn't sleep but then I finally crashed and not only slept for 5 hours and then I was up again. I was so livid.
