What made this extra extra enjoyable is the fact that these two are like.... REAL CLOSE.
Never seen BC acting this way on a show so this was VERY fun to watch :D
And honestly, the show itself has great format and Young K is a talented MC (and he's funny XD) so all in all, this was 10/10 :):)

It was great to watch this again! Love to see Chan getting a chance to be baby, which is always good for him XD I vibe with him a lot here on missing Australia, particularly the beaches; I grew up near the water, and it's always something I love to see when I go back. The macadamias are also funny; my best friend as a kid, who lived in my street, had a macadamia tree in her garden, so a bunch of us neighbourhood kids would collect the nuts when they were in season, shell them and eat them (though we never had a cool little tool like that for opening them - we just used something heavy!). Also: while you're in the market for SKZ content like this, you should check out Chan and Felix's interview with Eric Nam!

It's clearly a song that speaks to him and knowing his backround that makes total sense. A little Chan's room moment spoiler for those who haven't already seen it: One of the times he played it in particular gave us a little peak into the BinChan dynamics. As YoungK hits the "why am I alone? I need someone right now" line, you can see that he goes somewhere ... else. The moment is little, but heavy. Then the door opens and Changbin enters, all cheery, but you can hear from the delay on the phone he's bringing that he's been watching Chan's live. He just took one look at that moment and went "not on my watch".

You can see how much Chan appreciated him, being his friend for so long and I love it Fun fact: the dorm it was conformed by BamBam, Jackson, Young K and Chan (if Iโm not mistaken), so thatโs why he learned in the hard way to be more formal jajaja I can tell the tease in the room for being the youngest, the four of them have so much stories together

2024-10-31 21:28:16 +0000 UTCOoooo, I've been waiting for this one! I love it when we get a little glimpse of what Chris is like when he can put his responsibilites to the side for a bit. And there's something so endearing about him as the youngest. It's also hilarious to see YoungK stuck between exasperation and cute agression. That "chan in a box"-photo was teased years ago on Chan's room, when YoungK visited and told the backstory of it. I love that he actually went and found it. Like how he used to train for being in a group and actually was a decent dancer, but that he struggled with the flip (a must at JYP). Then he finally did it, was called to the office and got there all excited cuz he could finally do a flip, only to be told "that's great, we're going to debut you in a band, here's the bass", or that he was actually going to be Got7's main rapper. Also, the way I cackled when rewatching Hyunjin and Changbin talking about surviving on a deserted island on their 2kr with you, after knowing how Chan rated their survival skills here lol I have several favourites amongst the remaining shows, but I'm crossing my fingers for the Seungmin/Eunkwang one next because I genuinely think you'll enjoy their talk and because the two songs are so great! But Felix/Risabae and Changbin/Hyoyeon are also really good

It really struck a chord with me, and I totally get why Channie cried when he heard it, especially since we've learned so much about his time as a trainee. It's very reminiscent of Changbin's "Streetlight".

He also trained with Jeon Somi (soloist, former member of I.O.I) and has been close to Lisa (Blackpink) since his training days through BamBam. I love how he's showed up in dance challenges with these three since Ate, because he never used to do any at all and it's so obvious with them that he did because they're his friends. He seems so free and young in them

I loved how Yao Chen and Chan (and Hyunjin and Felix) reconnected at the 2023 AAA awards, and how Yao Chen gave SKZ a shout out when he won an award that night. And a few years ago when Chan went to Japan to help NiziU (a Japanese gg under JYP) with a song 3Racha wrote and produced for them, he reconnected with one of their members (Mako) who had trained at JYP in Korea at the same time as the 3Racha members. She considers them to be big brothers.

I love seeing him with Sana who is one of his best friends, they kind of bicker at each other. There was a brilliant live where 3racha were talking about God's Menu I think and Sana dropped by because she saw them there and then Young K did too and Chan was struggling between being professional and his older siblings coming to terrorise him. I always remember there was a Chan's room live that Young K was part of and Chan talked about how a Day 6 song made him cry because he related too hard and Young K was like 'who hurt you, who do I need to fight?' and it was so lovely to see someone take that role with Chan because usually we see him in that role for others.

He's a little more carefree and mischievous, and he's just adorable, frankly. We get to see small glimpses of Chris, the person and also the kid he used to be . I feel that, especially hen he's people that he used to train with in the past.

He was dormed with Day6 and GOT7 members before their debut, as well as some notable trainees who left the company: MonstaX's Shownu (taught Chan how to make ramen) and BTOB's Peniel (still one of his closest friends). He was close with the Twice members (especially the J-Line where he learned a lot of his Kansai dialect). He was also close with Wonder Girls' Sunmi, who used to feed him and take him home if it was very late (because he was so young at the time and would try to get home on his own). He was also friends with former JYPE trainees - AB6IX's Daewhi & Woojin, A.C.E's Yuchan (they were both in TWICE's Like Ooh Ah M/V), Cravity's Allen (he was part of the first iteration of the boys team that would become SKZ), soloist and former member of R1SE YAOCHEN (was also in the first iteration of the boys team), and several Pentagon members.

The relationship between Brian (Young K) and Bang Chan is seriously one of those GOALS things for young idols who need a sortof brother-mentor to help them navigate that world. I would hope all idols get lucky like Bang Chan did. It's incredibly telling that YK visited Chan's family in Australia even when Chan wasn't there with him. If Chan's parents love YK, then he truly must be a good person, and I'm sure they are also grateful to him for how he helped Channie over the years. And the fact that Chan and YK still have such a lovely and heartwarming relationship after....what.....almost 14 years? (7 years of Chan being a trainee and now almost 7 since SKZ's debut).......makes me so, so happy. I feel like YK is someone Chan will always be able to rely on, which is something every idol group leader needs because of the incredible responsibility and stress they take on in that role.

So it's definitely interesting to see him in a show with someone that he is so close to. Or at least used to be very close to. Oh when I first watched that didn't realize it was only episode 4. So this is a new show for him. Bang Chan rocking back and forth is so childlike it's adorable. Bang Chan also eats a lot when he gets into it. So I'm not surprised at all. The fact that young K tried to give him that little bit of rice had me rolling. Okay, I didn't know that. That the 4 year age difference was a thing. That's funny. So technically bang, chan and In would be the perfect match. Him being okay with being hit on the wrist for being polite is adorable. Yeah, bang chan can eat and I think it's hilarious that jyp won't eat with him anymore. Really? I just need bang chan to take off the Jean jacket like why just roll up the sleeves my guy. Oh but as she that the mic is on his jean jacket so he can't. Go young k. Go channie! Bro they're resting heart rates are so wildly different what the hell! Baby Channie is so cute!
