[Tier 3] ATEEZ - FEVER ROAD EP. 2 'Let Me Grill That Sausage!' + Behind Ep. 1 & 2

Episode 2 as well as the first two behind the scenes, ALL with HARD CODED SUBS :D

First off, thank you all so much for the hard coded bts clips. Tremendously helpful. Also, we found hard coded versions of the main episodes! As we state in the video, at the time of the recording, we didn't have access to the hard coded versions for the main episodes, and only the bts clips, but we found them while editing so we replaced it for your viewing pleasure! :D

Either way, loving this short series.

Hope you're having fun with us <3

Have a wonderful one Sausages! :)

I forgot how much this is attached to the lore. I think they did a lot of lore stuff with the Fever arc.

So fun fact- this most likely comes from the OG variety shows (the MOST iconic ones in Korean variety history) where there were always an emphasis on the competitive structure set between the crews and the starring celebrities - as a more notable example, the crews (or the main PD) would hide info from the members, lie to them, trick them, etc. to get good reactions from them. And this wouldn't just be applied to the main theme or subject of the episode, but often within the episode - so not only would they trick the members in general, but even when they think it's over, they'd keep teasing them with the details (which is where the food comes in) so that the members would be able to get mad at the PD and create a scene for a more dramatically comedic effect. Of course, most of the time, the members are totally fine with it, and there are only handful of examples where this actually caused significant enough discomfort in the public's eyes to generate some heat online. It just became a staple of all variety shows because it's easy to set up and get good reaction, which just means guaranteed formula for higher views. XD I don't personally HATE it, but I think there are definitely more 'clever' ways to make it less redundant, now that it's...well, redundant.

Ok - first, I had fun watching, as usual. But does anyone know why there are so many kpop variety show segments centered around competing for food? Where does it come from? How far back does it go? Why does every single group seem to do it? I personally hate it, and while I know that's a Me Problem, my uncomfy-ness is making me need to understand.

Ateez take food very serious. I had a bad day at work. I needed this. Iโ€™ll take all the gifts. They were great ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. โ€œThe only thing I have now is my liver.โ€ โ€œDo you even?โ€ You guys are great. The best chaotic duo to react to our chaotic pirates. Thank you for ending my day with some laughs.
