We say everything we need to say in the video so we'll keep it short here, but I did want to add that the crazy drum sounds at the end has a lot of City Pop feel to it as well. And boy was the Kcon performance fun :D Always great to see HJ interact with other members on stage out of his usual character XD

2024-10-28 02:20:40 +0000 UTCI loooove this song! Better is one of my pick-me-up songs, exactly because it's got that hopeful yet slightly melancholy feel to it. Like, yeah, sometimes life is hard and we may not always be where we want to be yet, but it's all right--little by little we're getting better! Nothing is the matter with us; small progress is still progress! And Ateez is right there with us, going through the same thing, which is really comforting and validating. You know? Idk that I'm communicating it properly, but... yeah. Thank you for sharing your reaction to this! I'm always looking forward to experiencing songs with you both. :)

It was last year and it was Jongho's first scene after recovering from his knee surgery, which is why he doesn't participate in the dance. It was the opening of the show and having attended it, I remember that their energy was crazy and the audience was super excited.
