I love other groups too but I don’t feel I know or am as bonded to any of them as much as stray kids bc of stuff like this. We are such a lucky fandom 🖤

Then they started talking and I was humbled. It is such a pleasure to see that each and every one of them have a deep connection with every other member.

2024-10-15 08:32:03 +0000 UTCOh wow, if the age wasn't off, I'd think you're my long lost twin :D I also really relate to Han and his obsessions, my own personal obsession record was 2,5 years of listening to only BB King discography. Now it's been SKZ playlist on repeat for almost a year and with their level of productivity and quality I don't see the end coming any day soon. I live in the graveyard of unfinished craft projects and my brain is full of weird facts of stuff that I was really into for a week or a month or an hour (cheetah is so fast, you know?) About the shipping - most of the shipping videos I've seen or the comments "oh, these idols must be in love!" make me think that have you guys never had friends? But half of the MinSung videos make me think "well, I've never had friends like THIS". And since the whole group really leans into this, I don't feel guilty for the little joy and giggles their whatevership gives me. There are people who need a reality check though. Shipping is one thing, but treating the idols as your personal entertainment machine who don't even deserve respect as human beings, is not acceptable. Rant over, it's just really nice to meet like-minded people :)

To see two grown men, having a full on, open conversation about their feelings. Even when they felt awkward. I can only imagine that this '2 kids room' series brought about so many healthy conversations with the members on and off camera.

They have worked really hard for their bond. These episodes are short so you can cram a few in one reaction.

2024-10-15 03:24:58 +0000 UTCIt's taken me a few hours, had to start/stop this vid so I could go to work, but even then I was SO excited that you're doing this now. I think this 'kids' series is perhaps the most accurate/up to date of any content. Like how they felt/came across in this, is how they still are today. You mentioned after the Seungmin/Changbin episode how well they know each other and understand each other, and I absolutely love their episode - especially as I grow/age as a STAY. You just see their growth of mature humans. I especially love it in the context of SKZ 'now' - you can really tell that these things they've learned about each other has carried forward into present day. I honestly think the song "Lonely Street" (whether when written, or when heard by the others) was a doorway for Changbin to be the deep thinker he is, and for others to be like "Oh, he isn't always baby Changbin or Dwaekki Changbin". It was a turning point for himself. The Felix/Hyunjin episode is fascinating to me. Because you really get the sense that the 'understanding' wasn't always there for them two, at least not initially, and that it was something they had to work towards. I think it was as you said for BinMin - one would talk (I assume Felix) and Hyunjin was just like... "mm okay". And that was that. And Felix was left with so many internal thoughts/overthinking etc. The language barrier must have been brutal in those early days. I adore when they spoke English with each other in that episode. Because as they said, it must have been hard to to really say in Korean, and convey the same meaning. But it was obvious that they had come into an understanding of each other, their personalities, how they communicate etc. Even now, their relationship just seems more even keeled. Lee Know and I.N as a duo are hilarious! I am 44 years old, and thanks to Lee Know, I've taken a more subdued approach to my mortality. I hope to die a peaceful death (and if I can take others with me, even better haha - you really need to watch the skz talkers sometime). HAN and Bang Chan just seem to understand each other on an artistic level. I WISH there was video somewhere of HANs audition tape, I've never been able to find it. I think every STAY is always wishing for HAN to find a hobby outside of music. Though here recently, he seems to have found peace within himself and his life, and that is just as good. As someone with ADHD, diagnosed late into adulthood - I just really, really love HAN. I am not saying he has the condition, but I can really relate with the 'all in' drive and then sudden dip into 'yeah, we're doing something else now'. I did nothing but write for a good ten years of my life. And then I gamed (World of Warcraft) for 15 years. And here lately my obsession has been SKZ, nearly 3 years strong. It's always all or nothing lol (for myself at least). But I've personally had so many things I've stopped/started in between it's appalling. (long ass TMI comments on youtube/patreon are also a trend of mine... sorry/not sorry). (I am not assuming anything about any member in this series, but I can absolutely relate in some context to each member in this series) I can't wait for Lee Know/HAN. I know 'shipping' is bad, and I know that sometimes we STAY can get lost in our own dramatized versions of the members - but dayum. Those two have a kinship/friendship/relationship that are just goals. (sorry this entire thing is so long!!)

I think that's something else that has changed significantly over the years. These days, the members are quite openly expressive, which is one of many reasons STAY loves them so much. Also, Changbin says Chan and Felix are much more expressive (back then) than the other members. I think that might be an Aussie vs Korean (meaning a fully immersive Asian / Korean experience all their lives) culture thing. -------------------------------------- EDIT for clarification: I added the word "Asian" in addition to the word "Korean" above because Han grew up in Malaysia for part of his childhood, so it wasn't totally a Korean immersive experience for him, other than the fact that his parents are Korean. Basically, I'm saying Chan and Felix, while very much living a heavily Korean existence now, grew up in Australia and no doubt have a more Western mindset about some things. Which is why, I think, Stray Kids have always seemed (at least to me) to have a more liberal / open personality as a group. More of an edge, more of an attitude than other Korean / Japanese / Thai, etc groups that seem to have more conservative vibes as a whole. I mean, straight out of the gate back in their trainee and debut days, it was apparent they were different. That is very likely the sum result of ALL of them being so unique, but it's my theory that Chan and Felix being more Western had at least a little to do with that. (Hopefully all of that ^^^^ makes sense.)

2024-10-14 22:57:42 +0000 UTCIf we're talking about dynamics, I've always found the similarities in family dynamics between the members very interesting... For Changbin and Seungmin, they are both the younger brother to an older sister. I feel like that dynamic makes a difference. Lee Know and Hyunjin are both only children, so they understand each other. Felix and I.N are both middle children, though I.N is the middle of 2 boys and Felix is the middle between 2 girls, which can totally be seen in their personalities. Han and Bang Chan are the outliers, with Han being the younger sibling to an older brother (so more in common with Changbin & Seungmin) and Chan is the oldest child in his family and we can clearly see that come out in his leadership of the group.

2024-10-14 21:32:43 +0000 UTCik some people won’t agree, but im kinda glad you didn’t go back and start from the older ones, they had only known each other (as a group) for like 1-2 years then, and it was just awkward? like they put them on a camera & told them to talk when they never really did anything like this before, so they never really talked about anything 😭 sure some talk is relevant in some episodes but i PERSONALLY just don’t think it’s as important as people say it is? sure it’s nice to go back and watch baby skz but not as important? idk just my opinion

I really love their communication and how well we get to know their dynamics in this series.

2024-10-14 18:23:20 +0000 UTCto me 2kids room is hands down the best non-music skz content, like they mixed the concepts of 1 Kids Room and Two Kids Room bascally and it just allows us to dig a bit deeper into their duo relationships! it's hard to choose one member i'm similar too but i guess i would choose changbin, the way he loves serious talk and analyzing his own as well as the others relationships - that's totally me as well haha i think because you're going through this one series like this you can compare well between the different duos but you might not able go in depth with the relationship of one duo specifically. that's why a lot of people also recommended doing one duo at a time and reacting to all their Two/2 kids rooms chronilogically, so you get to really see how each relationship develped over time. so i think each of the ways you go about it has it's own advantages. i'm happy with whatever order you choose i just wanted to mention it since you guys said at some point that it felt like you were moving a bit through fast to the episodes. so if you want to take more time for one duo, changing the order of reacting might be an option :)

I remember something from a while back where Hyunjin was doing a live, and he mentions he has to do some homework for one of his classes. If I'm not mistaken.....and I totally could be......I think Changbin and Han are also part time students (or at least were at one time), majoring in music or music production. But I have not heard anything about that in a long time, so they might have put their studies on hold. I'm honestly not sure.

2024-10-14 17:22:47 +0000 UTCDear Handsome Sausages - just in case you haven't realised - MANY of us are here because we get a kick out of watching you guys geek out and enjoy yourselves, we want to see you get excited over the things we have already seen and been excited about :) I've watched all these episodes a couple of times, some because of their entertainment value and others because of my changed viewpoint. What I know now gives me a whole different experience compared to what I saw a year ago. I notice dynamics and details that I didn't see then. Every time there's something new to discover, today for example was the first time I saw how much the members on the couch mirrored each other. I would also recommend watching the original 2 kids room, maybe after you have finished everything else? I recently watched some episodes and it was such a contrast. It has a different value and you'd definitely enjoy that.

The yellow wall with their blonde hair is so jarring to me. I think I've only watched these episodes once and I don't remember them at all. Those grapes look so fake. And by that I mean they look extremely good. Big plump and juicy. Right? Like I want to see too. I am very much like Felix in that sense. If somebody gives me something as a gift and I appreciate that person I will wear it until I literally cannot wear it anymore. I got a ring as a gift from a co-worker years previously and it was a black ring and I put it on and I never took it off so much so that the emblem that was on the ring is completely faded and you can't tell what was on it anymore, but I still wear it. I don't take it off. And then somebody gave me some beaded bracelets for Christmas and I wore those until all of them broke. I just appreciate things like that. Like if you thought of me enough to get me something I'm going to wear it until I can't anymore. I definitely see what hyunjin is saying about Felix, but hyunjin is blind to the fact that he has that as well. Even when he is not acting, he has an aura about him. All of this is so true. Hyunjin is definitely fire. He's powerful. He's passionate. Felix is water. He's smooth. He's fluid. Seriously, those grapes look delicious. Hyunjin and his English is so precious. Changbin and Seungmin together is just a hilarious Duo. Also, I so miss his cheek moles. I hate that they got rid of them. Tom and Jerry is a great descriptor of changbin and Seungmin. Not Binnie taking 3 months to go to the bank 🤣. I definitely relate to changbin because I also cried watching Seungmin sing Love poem. It was definitely really interesting to see segment be so sincere with changbin. Very very surprising but it was amazing. I love that they get these reassurance says every once in awhile. Because you can see how awkward it is for them to talk about this. Or maybe it's because the cameras are there to catch it. I'm not entirely sure but getting to hear someone say you are always reliable. It definitely has to warm your heart. The mother and the kid that the mother is trying to influence/corrupt. I absolutely love this hair color on Lee know. I absolutely love that the other members couldn't really describe Lee know and in's relationship. Right? Han-C?! Like when they said Lee know doesn't like cute, I'm like what do you mean he doesn't like cute when he loves cats. Cats are like the cutest!! Oh yeah I want to see what they're talking about as well for the countdown roar thing. With the exception of maybe Felix in Chan, they all are very shy when they are by themselves. In makes me want to fight him when he says he doesn't have abs. Because we've seen multiple times that he does. I wonder why In doesn't want to talk about the district 9 times. Lee know is so random for asking In out and then it was so unpredictable that In "accepted". I've never seen Ponyo. The way that they want to see these boys suffer makes me laugh. Yes, I am still waiting very impatiently for Lee know and IN to do a cover on skz record. Lol the way In unintentionally left Lee know hanging makes me laugh. And Lee knows reaction to it is too funny. And yeah In really didn't notice. I'll be right there with you Han-C. Also throwing your undies. It's the father of stray kids and his first stray kid. Lol Han heard cheesecake and came running. Hannie is so clumsy. I don't understand the difference of Han's dark energy spreading from a corner while bang Chan's spreads from the center. I absolutely love that! They zoomed in onto Han's shoulders when he was talking about it. Is anyone surprised that Han has a bunch of tracks on Chan's computer? Seriously? Is anyone surprised? Because I'm not. I'm genuinely surprised that han does not cry more. Absolutely you learn more about them and you fall in love even more with them. Lol y'all are so cute. Definitely fun and informative though. I definitely enjoy this.
