Fun concept, hilarious conversation, with lots of new trivia about SKZ we didn't know about! :)
We don't know much about Jaejae but we do know that she started off as an intern at 스브스 news (an online exclusive version of Korea's SBS News) - so she's not from the entertainment industry.
Yet, she proved to be an incredible born-to-be entertainer even on the news, and started gaining popularity, which is how she eventually started appearing EVERYWHERE in Korea.
Anyways, we're going to check out the second part very soon, so we hope you have fun with this one, and we'll see you all in the next :D

ps. just a quick note on the labor folk song: this is a legitimate term that has been used for a very long time. A lot of people think that this term is a newer term that has been formed by combining 노동 (labor) and 동요 (children's song) but it's actually not. The way it is used has indeed evolved to include n hour loops of music (extended versions) on YT, or anything that helps pass the time, but the term itself predates internet (well, it started centuries ago so that'd be an understatement). I (d'Some) actually talk about '노동 + 동요' in the video as well, but I forgot to expand on it later (saying that's how people often interpret the term and is irrelevant to the real meaning) so I'm adding this section to clarify :D

Oohh yes the Tablo collab! I'll be very happy even if it's just official recordings of their solo stuff (concert and songs they've been releasing throughout the year).

2024-10-04 20:30:00 +0000 UTCThey've had multiples every year since debut, averaging on 4 releases a year (not even counting singles w/less than 3 songs, OSTs, collabs and solo releases outside of the skz-replay album). Their pace is insane 🤯 Whilst Giant is a full album, Ate was only a mini, and a special could be as few as 3-4 songs, another skz-replay (in which case most songs have probably already been released on yt) or a re-package w/new tracks added. Last year they also had 4 releases/comebacks - The Sound (Japanese full album) - 5-star (Korean full album) - Social Path/Super Bowl (Jpn EP) - Rock-star (korean mini) And yeah, Japanese releases are typically not included in the Step Out videos. I can't remember a year with this many OSTs though

He’s had SKZ, ATEEZ, Nmixx, and lots of others too but stray kids on that show have been the funniest ones imo

We’re getting 8 Skz players too (prob the new individual songs from the concert?), so i feel like it would make sense if those songs and other skz records, etc. would be included in a skz replay album. So it won’t be an album they promote or anything which i think would make sense since they’re doing the tour and all About hyunjin, it is possible he’s hinting at something but he also just really loves the christmas vibes and carols, he starts talking about christmas pretty early every year xD

I think it really helped that they have worked closely with JaeJae on the last few fan meetings and felt comfortable with her and she also knows a lot about them. Also she is really good at interviewing!

I wonder if the the special album is going to be Christmas themed, seeing as there isn't much time left in the year 😅 that, and Jinnie keeps talking about Christmas music (though that could just be a him thing) I'll also be floored if they release another album, however I can't see them going back on a step out announcement 🤔 I'm just excited for whatever comes our way 😁

The albums are mentioned at the 4:02 time stamp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxss4QUsz8Q But someone told me that Stray Kids don't actually include Japanese projects in their STEP OUT videos, where they list things they have planned for the coming year. So if that's true.....it means they will be putting out a "special" THIRD album by the end of 2024. I mean.....2 albums in one year is well beyond what most artists do, but THREE?? And putting that third one out in the middle of their world tour???? If that actually happens I will be floored, in the best possible way.

That interview with the members was before the news hit about ATE.....it ALSO opened at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. So now, they have set a record for being the first group ever whose FIRST FIVE ALBUMS opened at #1 !! Only one other artist in the world has achieved the same honor - a solo rapper named DMX. If you don't have it on the list already, another good show is The K Star Nextdoor with Jonathan. Skz have been on twice - it's kinda similar to this show with three members each time and it's very funny.

But I am so excited to watch this when I get home because this was genuinely fun to watch. And I love JaeJae. She's so sweet. Okay I'm back a whole day later because life was life thing and I was watching a bunch of streams yesterday and I forgot to watch this but here I am and I'm super excited to watch this with you guys. You know it's very interesting that you said JJ's energy reminds you of Han and you'll see why later in the interview. As a fan of One direction that surprised me but also made my heart so happy. That's funny because I listen to their music at work. I have a playlist of nothing but stray kids songs and some of their covers on Spotify and it's like 14 hours long. So it was so interesting to find out that thunderous was actually made for Kingdom, but it was so good that it became a title track. Which honestly is so fair because it's amazing. YAAAAASSSSS I love that she asked about butt hunter Lee know. Lll Han-C RIGHT?!? I wanna be Lee Know's hands. I love hero's soup so much, but it makes me emotional after you guys explained the meaning and importance of it. I absolutely love that 3racha got an award For best Creator. It also created a moment that was hilarious that we will always remember. Han and JJ, talking about exchange Island is absolutely adorable. I love how the other members are just lost and don't care about it. I honestly love when Han wears the plaid. It's so simple but you can dress it up and dress it down and he looks fucking fantastic wearing it. I absolutely love the editing of the Maniac lyrics. And when Lee know does it, it is just amazing. Was that not cute as fuck? Yes, that is what they were doing at the dominator tour. They were doing what they were doing in this interview. No because I did not know that Michelin stars only went up to three. That song had me thinking so incorrectly. I know this is supposed to be a funny segment but I'm going to need them to calm down with the joking of the tortoise and the hair. Because that is MY SONG! See this is why you guys need to get into more of the music video makings. Lol, our rap better dance better duo. Our favorite enemies to besties. i absolutely adore JaeJae. she has emceed a few of their fanmees and we love her. She definitely seems like someone who can get someone to vibe with her.
