This may not be as educational as our other videos, but we just had to jump on the Ex MV conspiracy theories XD and really, it gets OUT OF CONTROL.
So a fair warning.
Otherwise, we hope you will just have a laugh with us (or Han-C more like), and those who have their own theories, please share :D
(We carried on with our conspiracy theory for over 30 minutes after shooting this video, going as far as visiting JYP website and bringing in other groups)

Chan-drowning (either literally or metaphorically) Lee Know-alcoholism or a need to fill the emptiness inside, Changbin-blocking out the world (using the paint which he has also alluded to the blue tree project in his streetlight m/v before), Hyunjin-obsession and control (trying to build the erasers up over and over only for them to fall), Han-obsession or hallucination (or a mental break to the point of hallucination), Felix-suicide (represented by the sound of a train at the beginning and him laying on the floor by the toy train tracks), Seungmin-paralysis (mentally due to an emotional state as he “lazes” in front if the couch), I.N-anhedonia (lack or inability to experience joy or pleasure and feeling numb or less interested in things) The thriller theory about them just being insane is funny and interesting tho 😂 probably the most I laughed while watching you guys just discuss something lol

You can definitly strongly see Changbin's colours in the song Next being "We go" - they performed the song only once at the end of 2019 at their Unlock Tour concert in Seoul, way before the official release. The performance is fun, so i would recommend to watch it! At the time we knew nothing about the comeback besides the date and album title, and suddenly we got the news that a song called "미친 놈 (EX)" written by chan and changbin was deemed unfit for broadcasting standards by kbs 😅 We didn't know if it was going to be the title or a b-side track. I believe they resubmitted the song and got approved with the title "EX", but still they never performed it on Music Bank eventhough they did perform both back door and ex on all the other music shows. So I dont know if they just changed the title or some lyrics as well for broadcasting. I do have a memory that chan said that the lyrics were worse before and they had to tone it down, but I can't find the source, so perhaps I made that up idk 😅 Many Stay thought it was going to be some kind of disstrack or hard rock song based on the title 😂 When the unveil video got released everyone was like 😦 what???

It is fun to get a new perspective about this song because I had always found this music video in particular very odd(inary). It seemed to have a very specific concept that I couldn't quite grasp. From the "ghosts" to different locations to the weird behavior from each member. Straykids I swear always make me either over think or make believe it's a simple song when it's not 😂😭❤

It can still be uploaded to social media and video platforms like YouTube, though. Groups like NCT 127, IKON's rapper Bobby, BigBang, BTS and quite a few others have had songs "banned." Stray Kids' song Easy was "banned" by KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) for coarse language. They revised the lyrics and resubmitted it, after which it was approved.
