This time, it is the long awaited episode featuring Hongjoong THE CAPTAIN Kim of ATEEZ.
I think this should almost be our slogan at this point, but we never expected him to be this good. There's gotta be a reason why he's on a 'singing' program, right? After all, he is an idol, and a captain. But at the same time, we all know he's a rapper. So what's up here.

Excellent cover choices, great chemistry between the two, and wonderful insight into his past and philosophy. Loved every second of this episode.

He covers Lemon Tree, Purple Rain and other songs as well as show the process of him rearranging the songs and adding his rap. When he mentioned the story of losing his songs, I felt that through every fiber of my soul. I could really relate to it. I bet that was when he learned to make backups. My favourite cover is Starman. Billie Jean is a close second

Favourite cover from this episode is probably Cupid - the others were all great, but that one surprised me the most.

I think it's the only interview I've seen, where he could talk so much about producing, about what and who his inspirations were. This should be right up your alley.

(Bonus he's such a baby in some of them so you get to see both the growth and the raw creativity and uniqueness he's had since day 1.) You want to look for: Space Oddity, Black or White, Purple Rain, Numb, and Lemon Tree. There's a couple more but I can't remember the names. He says he's good at all positions and he's not blowing smoke!

He really loves Bowie and even visited a Bowie mural wall on tour in Phoenix this summer. He's always loved English language music from the era. Doing a questionnaire during his birthday live last year he called his mom to find out what Baby Hongjoong's favorite song was - she said Hotel California. His little Billie Jean impression was infamous for being cringy. He had us all on the floor when this came out! Jongho can rap. I would put money on him being their best freestyler. No joke. I REALLY want him and Hongjoong to do a unit song where they each sing and rap.
