It's literally just stuff like, "Oh look, I can't count anyone's ribs, and there's some actual curve and muscle to their thighs, and they've got enough ass to twerk properly, and you can see the tiniest bit of softness at stomach and arm," which makes them look like they still fall within a vaguely normal healthy-ish range for women in their early 20s, as opposed to my first thought being, as it so often is with other newer girl group members, "oh my god she must be so cold and tired and hungry, what the actual fuck?"

I've been meaning to look up Kiss of Life since I saw some clips of the members talking sensibly about food, which is sadly rare enough in the industry to be memorable. To which point, I hate that this is a factor with girl groups, but I like that a) they don't all have the same face due to plastic surgery and b) none of them looks starved, which ought to be a deeply low bar to clear and yet here we are. And I like that the extras in the MV are relatively body diverse, at least by kpop standards. Even when I like a girl group's music, it's never enough to make me forget how angrifying I find the insane beauty standards and diet culture if all I want to do is give each of the members an oversized hoodie and a plate of warm carbs while I go hit their shitty managers with a spiked bat.

2024-08-25 00:07:57 +0000 UTCthey’re an amazingly talented lineup! Natty (short black hair), was a finalist in Sixteen but didn’t qualify due to her age at the time, former JYP trainee/soloist. Julie (the one who was smiling a lot) was a trainee at TheBlackLabel. Belle (the blonde), was a song writer for SM, wrote for Miyeon, Le Sserafim and Purple Kiss. She’d also post her tracks on soundcloud. Haneul (long black hair) was only a trainee at S2 for about a year??? but yes! they’re such a breath of fresh air in the industry incorporating older and newer concepts.

I think that's why it took me a while to get into it. Lol, not Han-C making you say sticky again 😹. Its VERY summer. So long since you saw what D'some? Dude i don't fully understand their lore but yhe ending was so interesting. Like what does it mean?! Yes i love the one shot feel. Very much yes Han-C. Very different. Ok ok that's what you were gonna say D'some. Oh I've seen some recent "twerking" that was very cringey but just bcuz it wasn't done well. But they (kiss of life) did it very well. Natty is my favorite but Julie very much stood out in this video. your voice sounds so nice D'some. Alrighty off to actually watch the studio choom video.
