In fact, this was not the I.N we knew - every single time we react to a new SKZ content, we are humbled by our ignorance. Wow. I.N DESTROYED this performance.
To say we loved this is an understatement.

It’s not very easy to hear his voice because at some parts the audience is so into it that they’re singing along with him😂 but there’s definitely some great moments when he unleashes the power of his voice and the audience goes wild. It’s really cool to see just how meant for the stage he was even before debut.

Like you guys pointed out, he sings differently by himself - which does show up in his solo SKZ-Records - then he does with the members. 2024-08-10 03:53:28 +0000 UTCI.N switched to a private vocal teacher (away from JYPE) in 2021 or 2022. I can't remeber exactly when now. And I've seen (heard) a huge change in that time. I think his inclination to lean toward "bright" songs and the such are because of Stay. Which is annoying. So many Stay want him to stay cute and the baby and sing sweet, bright, cute songs. His voice is actually really well suited for these types of songs (from the episode). I hope he realizes that now and stops trying to appease those Stay.

And I.N. is soo charismatic and skilled, much more than a lot of people realize, I'm really glad he's been getting more attention lately :)) Lee Mujin Service really has such a great concept! Also D'Some getting the notebook out again made me laugh🤣

When this episode first came out I was watching it and my grandma came down to watch with me and we've ended up watching all of the LMS eps together because she happened to like the IN one. She has terrible eyesight, so I do have to verbally read out the captions, but one of the nice things about the show is that you can just enjoy the songs and their voices. She understandably doesn't really connect with most of SKZ's music, but I do have a playlist of their songs that she likes the sound of.

I remember when I first joined your Patreon and there was a poll asking what you should react to. Lee Mujin Service was included in the poll but SKZ code won. I think the timing is just right as you really get to appreciate each member and their vocals even more now. Thank you again and I cant wait for Seungmin's episode. You will love it! I mentioned this on another video but their duet is my favorite! It is so good.

We actually say in the video that we were surprised precisely BECAUSE we don't hear that in SKZ songs, and that I.N's been doing it because that's what he was given to work with, that's the style he's been showing AND that style happens to fit with the lines in most SKZ songs - so we only saw this style for the first time in this episode of Leemujin Service. So...imagine if he could really let go and start experimenting, exploring, and rediscovering his own self through singing! He'd indeed be MUCH better because....we can all hear the potential here right? :D

2024-08-09 02:48:02 +0000 UTCI adore I.N and his voice so much. I know he has been studying with a vocal coach for years. As a result, I can hear a definite difference from when he first debuted. But I wonder if it's time to find another coach? The reason I say that is.....it seems like I.N has all of this untapped potential that just isn't being accessed. He still comes across as someone who hasn't found his style - or perhaps hasn't explored different genres very much. I feel all of this POWER there, but......I may not be explaining this well......it seems like he just doesn't know how to fully open up to it, yet. The thing is, I.N has said in the past that he likes things to be carefully planned. He doesn't like to be spontaneous. I just get the feeling he might be applying that same way of thinking to his vocal skills. It feels like he's always choosing the "safe" songs that don't make him stretch very much. I almost wish someone would make him do internships with rock bands, jazz singers, Latin artists or other kinds of musical influences. I know this isn't coming across very clearly. Sorry. My main point is, just for his own personal education and growth, I think I.N needs to go WAY outside his comfort zone (and frankly, WAY outside the Stray Kids bubble) to find out who he really is, musically and vocally. (Please don't hate me for saying all of that.)

2024-08-09 01:10:06 +0000 UTCI sobbed the first time I watched I.N's episode. I was just absolutely in a state of shock, because I had no idea he could sound and emote like this. Like every SKZ member is talented, obviously, but this episode (for me) was like really seeing Jeongin for the first time and not just the 'maknae I.N'. I'm also always very disappointed when the show ends haha. I could happily watch episodes that were an hour or so long. The singing is fantastic, but it's also the conversations that happen. Lee Mujin is just a wonderful host, and it's so impressive how he communicates and brings guests out of their shell.

I'm super excited and I cannot wait to watch y'all's reaction to our baby bread. Because he does an absolute fantastic job. How stinking precious is he? 🥰🤗🥰. Who wouldn't fall in love with I.N's smile? So I've watched this before. I think like three times now. This is my third time watching it with y'all and I always forget what songs they perform. But as soon as the melody came from his mouth from the first line I'm like. Oh yeah, oh yeah, I remember this song. This song was stuck in my brain because he absolutely kills this. He kills everything else as well, but like the Goosebumps. The freaking Goosebumps. And I'm already tearing up Jesus. Oh dang D'some bought out the notebook. Literally how could you even focus enough to write stuff down? I'm sitting here like Han-C with my eyes closed, big ass smile on my face and tears running down my cheek. I love him covering this song so much. I don't know if the original song went that way, but it's the last notes for me and how abruptly it ends. It's so emotional. The way that that line has become like so significant about Ian. About him wanting to be a priest. It's just wildly absurd looking at him nowadays. Like we could see it when he first started out. But now baby bread done turned into Father toast. So I guess he became like a type of father, just not the Catholic type of father. If that makes any sense. It would make sense if you watch any of his fan cams from kcon La. That man could not be a priest today 🤣. Wait what does turned off the TV mean? Of all the times I've watched these performances, I don't think I ever paid attention to the lyrics. But damn these songs are sad. Like big sad. You know what? I aspire to be D'some's level of focused, but I always turn out to be Han-C's level of focus. The way i love Busan Seagull. Oh yeah mknae on top is the it song. Baby bread has been obsessed with being sexy for so long. And it's so funny because he very much hit that goal. He is so sexy. Nobody can touch his sexy. Lee Mujin himself is dressed in a way that Seungmin would dress. He looks super dandy. They sound great together in this duet. Not me actually waving my hands with you 🤣. No, this duet between these two was absolutely stunning. And of all the songs from today's episode. That first one is the most memorable and my favorite followed by that duet. All of the boys have multifaceted talents. I.N has always been a bit mature. It's just it took a little bit of time for his voice to catch up to it. But it matches so well now. I absolutely agree with you D'Some. It was the highlight of the video. Our maknae is so smart. Always thinking ahead. Lee Mujin definitely does seem like a wise old man. However he's only a year older than I.N What is with these old souls man? I don't know what show it was that he was on that did the trot but you guys should definitely watch the clips of it. He did such a great job. Our little baby. It was definitely awesome to watch Lee Mujin be surprisingly impressed. I did notice that more during the second song I believe. The way he ended his notes. I.N is criminally underrated. So criminally underrated. And my favorite performance is the first one he did. I absolutely cannot wait to see how D'Some reacts to his bias on this show 🤗

Overall I love the episode cause we can see more of his variety and evolution. With recent records we see that too, but it wasn't there before. I feel like he's finally finding the sound he likes, the one he'd like to show as his own, more than what we saw from him before. I'm very excited to see the future that waits for Innie

Seungmin was the second episode of Lee Mujin service overall, so the format/layout was a little different. I’m going to highly highly recommend the 100th episode (again). It was absolutely iconic.

I'm kind of glad you saved his for last of the SKZ episodes because knowing how you now feel about Seungmin you are gonna lose it.
