[Tier 3] SKZ - Blueprint (MV + KCON Performance)

We actually preferred coming back from Stray Kids video to check this one out after, since it gave us more insight into what the song could mean and why they chose to reference it in the lyrics. As we've been saying with other tracks from Go Live, this album is eerily parallel to ATE in its tone - the drastically different vocal tones in each track, the diversity in genre, etc. is nothing like the other albums we've checked out thus far. Yes, they're always experimental and surprising, but the mood is just different with these two albums!
Either way, loved every second of this song - lots of cool details to talk about - so hope you enjoy, and we'll see y'all in HAVEN! :D

I love love LOVE Blueprint!! I dare to say it's my all time favourite skz song. It's so refreshing and fun. No matter how sad i am or how much of a bad and depressed mood i find myself in this song always manages to make me smile, to make me stand up and start moving, just over all to make me feel better and hopeful even if only for 4 minutes. On top of it i also like the mv because it's so aesthetic and beautiful to look at.

Im specifically talking about the blue wings that felix and han were laying on in stray kids and Hyunjin was laying on in blueprint. He assumed it referenced spread my wings. Which is super valid bcuz he hadn't yet seen this MV. But now that he has he realized where that part is from.

I do feel like spread my wings and blueprint is connected. Other than that, I agree with all that you said 😊

I can’t wait to see your reaction to it 😆 I will say this, I would LOVE to see the reaction to the dance practice first just because it really brings the song more to life, HOWEVER the sound quality isn’t as good as if you do lyrics first, so whatever you prefer!

Skz live is always just so fun to watch, they are confident and great chemistry between the members! Also I live for Seungmin being the one to cover parts when rappers are missing, here as well as Han's part in God's menu (also at Kcon). I will keep pushing the Kim Seungmo Rapper agenda!!😤 Btw this Kcon was in June 2021, the offcial videos where just uploaded much later, so at that point their last korean albums were Go Live and In Life.

So during this performance, Noeasy wasn’t released just yet—which is also the reason why Hyunjin wasn’t there (he was still on hiatus). Hyunjin officially came back June 25, 2021 when Mixtape:OH was released (which was an emotional day for Stay), so it was before that date.

The future being bright and blue (fresh like blue skies), having a blueprint to achieve their dreams, coming through hard times with a plan for the future, looking ahead to bigger and better things. The truer beginning of their new full potential. The white outfits like a clean slate, ripe for growth and change. I just love it. Can't wait for Haven, its so good they're still using it for an encore song along with some NoEasy songs. It's got staying power and it's great live. If you can find a good live version or want one, it's def worth the watch. The energy alone.....

Edit: In the Stray Kids mv, there is also a reference to Spread My Wings. I think perhaps Spread My Wings starts this thread, it goes through Blueprint and now has landed in Stray Kids? Just a thought..

2024-08-06 15:30:57 +0000 UTCYes. This song is so beautiful. I love Changbin's parts in this. His voice is so refreshing in it. I also love Hyunjin's parts. And they all look so fantastic in the video. I also love that you didn't catch the blue blindfold. Lee Know is STUNNING in this video. Seriously them in all white is breathtaking. Okay but chan and Lee Know in that 1 shot is beautiful. You thought they were referencing. Spread My wings because you hadn't seen this yet so that's very valid. But now you know where it's actually from. The choreography is so precious. And this song definitely does fit I.N's style. I'm very sad that hyunjin wasn't here for this, but I do love that they gave his wrapping part to Seungmin. And with that being said, I dislike how loud Hyunjin's backing vocals were Like I wanted to hear Seungmin more. Okay, this has nothing to do with this video. However, stray kids is releasing a music video for their song jjam tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Eastern standard Time
